Publisher's summary

The meeting with the other warlocks that Wes has been waiting for is about to go ahead, but something else just came up—something that might change not only Wesley Alban’s life, but the lives of everyone in the entire world.

Wes has found an angel below the Deja Vu bar. Apparently, that’s a bad thing. Her very existence on Earth could spell all-out war between the forces of heaven and hell with Earth as the battlefield.

This beautiful angel desperately needs the protection of Wes and his guild. Will holding onto her lead to the end of days, or will Wes figure out some way out of this new mess?

Not his finest work

while I still enjoy the series, compared to many other books by this author, this series doesn’t do a great job of making it clear how powerful the main character is.

I don’t think we saw any creative use of his powers in this book, and the boss fight at the end of this one left a lot to be desired.

I’ll also say, that while the narrator is good, I have very much gotten used to these books having two narrators, and I do miss that, though I can understand why others might disagree with me on that.

loved it though the mc is a moron lol

I love the urban setting and as well as the world Wes and his familiars live in, even though Wes seems to make every mistake he could possibly make he's still very entertaining. need more!

This series is a must read

For fans of Dante King series, especially if you (like me) really enjoyed Lucifer Reborn. I literally found myself wanting to skip ahead to find things out (my advice, don’t it’s worth waiting) but if someone had done a synopsis on Wikipedia I probably would have caved 😂😂 the MC Wes can be a little dumb when it comes to incoming betrayals or traps but it wasn’t severe enough to detract from the story for me. However… If you’re DEEPLY religious you will get angry this book is probably not for you. But to fans of the genre and lovers of mythology.. Five F***in Stars ⭐️ MUST READ!! You’re welcome

avoid this one

every aspect of this book is weak. except the narration. character development does not exist and they are not consistent with little personality they have. fight scenes make no sense the mc has no power and just lucks out of everything. all aspect of story seem to be very pushed to happen. the direction of story is just not there.

Mediocre story. pretty good performance

Story felt barely put together. It's just a way to put male fantasy to page. I am usually fine with that, but this was ridiculous.

Wes..

I think the mc is a pretty big idiot at times and it’s pretty annoying.
