About this listen

The world changed the day the rifts happened. Trolls, elves, and other races from fantasy and myth emerged into a modern world, bringing magic with them. The world governments worked to segregate these new arrivals into refugee camps, which eventually became the nation of De’Vas. A nation of paranormals.

Five years after the rifts first appeared, Asher Grayson was deported, or as he called it exiled, to De’Vas since he could use magic. Now he is trying to carve a life out for himself in District 114. His roommate and best friend is an orc, keeping his dryad boss in line is a full-time job and the local beastkin gang has it out for him. As Ash works to hone his magic and navigate this new world, he finds himself in a dangerous situation involving the darker side of De’Vas. With powerful foes after him, Ash must rely on his magic and friends to survive.

Big boob are more aero dynamic

honestly book is a 5/5 with one glaring mistake. Author states that big boobs are less aerodynamic when in fact they are more aerodynamic as show in the study by n. rabino, who's study of the subject can be found on research gate titled "analysis and quantative effects of large breast on aerodynamic performance and wake"

Why are Dryad characters always the best

I put this book off for to long and regret it. The start of the book jumps right into the story of him being exiled and I was happy we didn't have to go through 5 chapters of his regular life then being sent away. The girls are all great and I enjoy them all. I like the Mob boss kinda feel the book has, reminded me of my favorite Mob harem book. Can't wait to read the next book.

A good first book

I liked the story. It had issues that keep me from calling it a great book, but was definitely not a bad book.

Some things felt a little glossed over, and some of the interactions felt a little too developed for the amount of time you’ve known each other.

While noticeable, it didn’t stop me from enjoying the story as it moved along.

The voice acting wasn’t bad. As others have said, a male for the male voices would have been nice, but it didn’t take away from the story.

Also not overly smutty.

Overall, I could see myself getting the next book if there is one.

fun

Chase wrote a fun story and Alyssa as always delivered a great performance. My first experience with Chase and he is a good story teller. I appreciated how he interwove the characters and events to bring a whole story. The characters were fun and each was an individual. I recommend this book and look forward to future series books

Dialogue and Story are Excellent

The characters were great and different than other Haremlit audiobooks I've listened to. Can't wait for the second book to grace us.

A Good Story On Rocket Boosters

To quickly sum it up, great story, fantastic world building, but everything goes way too fast. It's like the plot jumps from event to event with little to no time inbetween. I would have really liked more quiet moments between characters where they could just talk to each other.
But all in all, very good book. I have far more positives than negatives. I'll be looking forward to the next in the series.

Great story!

Story was great! Voice acting was top notch! There was a good mix of story, lore and smut.
