Excellent Book for driving

A well paced adventure that was great while on a road trip. Didn’t have to rewind because of confusing wording or missed key points. Can’t wait for the next book!

the growth

I really liked how the character grew during the story. I also enjoyed that even considering his background he was not arrogant

Fun story

I enjoyed the story and can see a lot of potential. There were a few confusing plot points but everything was wrapped up by the end. The only complaint that I have is that many of the major plot reveals were telegraphed well in advance. To me it was not that big of a deal though the overall story was well done.

MC entitlement he acted like a level 500 mage since he learned his first summon

Nice skills, creative way to craft and mix summons and spells cast. However I just can’t see a level 8 beating a level 100 dragon. The. Going on to expel an ancient spirit… pass

good storyline, horrible interactions.

The parents, "friends" and teachers are abusive to the main character. Telling him he needs integrity and to be open and trustworthy to them, but then in the same breath will not do the same.

The world building was good. Characters are interesting and enjoyable.

Frankly, I caution anybody who is fed up with the world forcing lifestyle agendas. I don't care if the main character is gay. However, in my opinion he was presented as goal driven, unsociable and scholar. It felt a bit forced. I guess I just didn't see the need. It was hard to enjoy after this. It was too similar too Dragonage Vangard. Same with DnD and racial passive being racist. I come to fantasy to exscape the "problems" of the world.
I guess I am just tired of this being forced. Maybe later I will pick the series up again. As I enjoyed it.
