A Series of Unfortunate Events. Just when you think it can't possibly get any worse, it does. WAY worse!

Which character – as performed by Mikael Naramore – was your favorite?

It's so hard to pick! The voice of Val is eloquent and believable. Claire comes across as a totally girly-girl, turned kick-butt. Dean is the oft misunderstood little brother... Do I need to go on? These characters all have distinct voices, and are awesome! Obviously, the person whose POV is told is the fave (Dean), but the rest deserve honorable mention.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!!! Had this been half as long, I would have. As it was, I managed to listen to over FIVE HOURS in one sitting! That is a record for me! Love this series so much!!!

Any additional comments?

I just want to say that the books are awesome. The narration is flawless. If I were to compare the inflections of each character from this (book 6) to book one, I would be able to tell each voice, without prompting. That is a huge achievement! The other major point is like to make: it's really HARD to keep a fan base through a series, for small pub and indie authors! My hat is off to Chrissy Peebles, for managing to hold my attention for SIX books in a series that I learned about on Facebook! Kudos! I'll be downloading book 7,as soon as I get paid!
