About this listen

A new spine-tingling thriller from the best-selling master of edge-of-your-seat stories.

When Casey Duncan first arrived at Rockton, the off-the-grid, isolated community built as a haven for people running from their pasts, she had no idea what to expect. There are no cell phones, no Internet, no mail, and no way of getting in or out without the town council's approval. She certainly didn't expect to become the town homicide detective. But the very last thing she expected was for the council to drop a dangerous criminal into their midst without a plan to keep him imprisoned. And she never thought that she'd have to be responsible for him.

The longer Oliver Brady stays in town, the more people seem to die around him. When evidence begins piling up that someone inside Rockton is working as his accomplice, Casey races to figure out who exactly Brady is and what crimes he's truly responsible for committing.

With dangerous secrets and heart-stopping twists, This Fallen Prey is Kelley Armstrong's most gripping thriller yet.

Critic reviews

"Kelley Armstrong's solid Casey Duncan series, set in Yukon, is turning into one of the best new finds of the decade. Armstrong has always been a particular talent, but Duncan and the Yukon are definitely her inspiration. This Fallen Prey is the best Rockton novel so far." (The Globe and Mail)

"Armstrong continues to expand the highly original Rockton world." (Kirkus Reviews)

"Armstrong delivers surprising twists and keeps readers guessing about who the next victim might be." (Publishers Weekly)

Love this series

I just discovered this series and listened to all 3 in the past 3 weeks and I am hungry for more! I like the premise of this series living off the grid and how to deal with situations without modern technology and gadgets that we take for granted. The plots take lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. The narrator is spot on! She has a great voice to listen to and easily transitions into other characters. This has become of one my favourite series, a bit on the dark side but a very satisfying listen
