When Chloe is given a peek at the script for an epic love story, she decides to take her destiny into her own hands and request an audition for the lead female role, Esther Kingsley. The compelling tale, inspired by family lore and a one-page letter from the colonial ancestor of scriptwriter Jesse Gates, just might break her out of this career-crippling rut. Jesse would rather write about romance than live through it after his past relationship ended in disaster. But once on-set together, the chemistry between Jesse and his leading lady is hard to deny.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

Sweet book! Full of love and kindness.
As usual, virtual voice missed intonations that took away from the impact of the words. VV has a long way to go before it is as fulfilling as the human voice!

Forgiveness and love
I loved the book. The story is so tender and sweet. Plenty of things going on to keep your attention. I love the characters and the focus of keeping our focus on God. And that hopes and dreams do come true even if not when you thought they would happen.
Surprisingly the AI voice was not bad. Some of the words were pronounced wrong. Good and bad - some readers have different tones and volumes and different voices for each character which I like unless they don’t do it well. The AI reader didn’t do voices but was more like me reading it to myself. It would have been nice to have a deeper tone for male voices. Very nice though! This was my first time with the AI reader.

I always love the Christ centeredness of Rachel Hauck books
I always love Rachel Hauck books! I did not enjoy the AI voice! That voice, lacks emotion You missed the characters. It's all the same. I love the performances of real people. Please don't choose to go this route again!!

Simple love story
Ai Virtual voice narration is severely lacking. No inflections, emotions or character change. Hard to stay focused and difficult to enjoy my favorite author.
