About this listen
The story that inspired the Hallmark Original movie! He’s a royal prince. She’s an ordinary girl. But this holiday could change everything.
Susanna Truitt never dreamed of a great romance or being treated like a princess — just to marry the man she has loved for 12 years. But life isn’t going according to plan. When her high-school-sweetheart-turned-Marine-officer breaks up with her instead of proposing, Susanna scrambles to rebuild her life.
The last thing Prince Nathaniel expects to find on his American holiday to St. Simons Island is the queen of his heart. The prince has duties, and his family’s tense political situation means he won’t be able to marry for love or even choose his own bride. When Prince Nathaniel stops to help Susanna, who is stranded with a flat tire under the fabled Lover’s Oak, he is immediately enchanted by her. And even though he’s a total stranger, Susanna finds herself pouring her heart out to him.
Their lives are worlds apart, and soon Nathaniel must face the ultimate choice: his kingdom or her heart?

Story
When Chloe is given a peek at the script for an epic love story, she decides to take her destiny into her own hands and request an audition for the lead female role, Esther Kingsley. The compelling tale, inspired by family lore and a one-page letter from the colonial ancestor of scriptwriter Jesse Gates, just might break her out of this career-crippling rut. Jesse would rather write about romance than live through it after his past relationship ended in disaster. But once on-set together, the chemistry between Jesse and his leading lady is hard to deny.

Story
An arranged marriage isn’t the worst fate for a princess like me. Especially because I’ve been in love with my intended groom since we were children. But when my prince shows up with an American girlfriend instead of an engagement ring, all arrangements are off. The clock is nearing midnight; I won’t turn into a pumpkin, but if I’m not wed by summer’s end, I’ll forfeit my kingdom. Just your typical royal dilemma. Out of sheer desperation, I make a deal with a devilish duke. Rafe de Silva is the prince’s rival and has a plan so ridiculous it just might work.

Easy read... uncomplicated plot... Christian
The narrator was great. I enjoyed listening to her.
The story was kinda Hallmark... nice for an easy read with no complication. I like the Christian focus stressing the importance of leaving your life in God's hand for him to work things out.
The characters were engaging and likable. The story
could've done with a bit more conflict but I can live with it as is.

Excellent Storyline and Narration
This is the first book I've read/listened to by Rachel Hauck. I was expecting the religious aspect since I had read the reviews. I was a bit surprised by the storyline as it's not often you get a royal story with Christian roots. It was well written and I didn’t want to pause the audio. Sweet HEA. It left me with a warm heart and smiling big.
Lisa Larsen is an excellent narrator. She did well with the male and female voices and it rolled like a movie in my head.

Too much religion
This is way too much religion. It’s a great book for a 14 year old or”christian faith” person though. Half way through and have to give up. Narrator can’t carry me through. It’s too meh.

Great for Followers of Jesus!!
This was so great especially for one following Jesus. And are led by God's Holy Spirit. There was a lot in here, things about forgiveness, putting on the Armor of God, especially to the reference to the Feet of Peace. So. great!!! Great for those who know and or are learning God's character. This is a good representation of how God works out things for those who genuinely Love Him. As He Is Love! It shows how God writes out our Love Storys if we will surrender and let Him. And be honest with ourselves about what we need to work on. He always knows best. This was an awesome romance Christian book. You can tell that this writer isn't just writing a book about Christianity but is filled with The Holy Spirit and writes guided by Him. This author also knows about surrender. As it is very important and usually determines what kind of relationship one has with Jesus. You can always tell one by their fruit. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. I like reading authors books that you can tell that they are not religious people. But they have a genuine and healthy relationship with God and are genuinely following God as well. It completely shows that you are and have seen and heard the Goodness of God in your life by how this book was written. All Glory to God! Awesome book!!!

Prince + heaps of God shoved down your throat.
This story is wonderful, but be warned that the author brings up God every few sentences and keeping the faith in God is shoved at you a tremendous amount. I somehow missed that important detail in the plot description and wouldn’t have listened to this had I known. If you don’t like listening about religion then try a different author, I will.
