About this listen

Tama Kieves knows a thing or two about dramatic changes. After graduating from Harvard Law School with honors, Tama left an unfulfilling life at a prestigious corporate law firm to pursue her passion and make a name for herself as a writer and inspirational speaker. Now, she dedicates her time to helping people face their fears, tackle uncertainty, and shift their mindset to achieve the extraordinary in their own lives. This book isn't just about getting through life changes, it'll teach you to use that change and uncertainty as a launching pad for joy.

Thriving Through Uncertainty proves that the moment your plans fall apart is precisely when your true destiny begins. With Tama's guidance, you can take hold of the blessings and opportunities hidden within uncertain transitional periods and begin to move forward. Weaving together practical exercises and techniques along with anecdotes from Tama's own experiences, you'll master key lessons like how to control your mindset and mood to stay focused and happy; having faith in yourself and your journey; allowing yourself to feel pain and discomfort; continuing to thrive through future obstacles, and much more.

Speaks to the heart

This book met me exactly where I was, contemplating leaving a stressful job and trying to figure out what’s next for me. This book and Tama’s voice awakened a life inside me I had hushed for so long. I am happy to say I am well on my way in transformation and enjoying every minute of it. I am “following the bread crumbs” and enjoying this chapter in my life which one day will be “so sentimental.” So many other nuggets of wisdom to help calm and direct the mind. Highly recommended!

My favorite book ever!!!

I felt like every word out of Ms. Kieves’ mouth was written for my personal benefit. I so appreciate her ability to describe those exact dynamics I’ve been experiencing, those exact words I say to myself, the exact feelings I spiral into as I move through this process—all with such clarity, empathy and sense of humor. I feel uplifted and encouraged, but not it a “positivity” or “hopeful” kind of way, but in a deeply trusting, grounded, authentic way. I love her real life stories that illustrate the lessons, and the exercises she shared are concrete, actionable practices which I already have found helpful in my daily life. I’ll keep this audiobook cued on my phone for a long time—each time I listen, I hear something new and powerful. Thank you for writing this book!

Childish reading style.

I wanted to listen to this topic so bad, but the author spoke in a way that made it feel so belittling to listen to. Spoke EXCESSIVELY slow and overly sympathetic as though we were little children in daycare who couldn't keep up. I was disappointed because she does have a great topic of discussion, but it was just too uncomfortable to listen to.
