I cannot fathom how Ms.Sawyer got her wonderful inspiration to make such a delightful book. She is absolutely the best author I have ever encountered. Satisfying and Heartwarming

Where does Through the Deep Waters rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dina - I identified with her struggle to accept love and forgiveness.

What does Kate Turnbull bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She had a gentleness in her voice that made the story inviting and allowed you to open your heart easily to the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Finding Favor and Forgiveness in Place of Fear and Failure

Any additional comments?

The author made the struggle real, delving into the true emotions that come as a result of tragic circumstances. As in real life, I wanted relief for Dina to come sooner, yet the timing was true to life in that it portrayed a journey where God met her, in His perfect timing.

Beautiful Story of Acceptance and Forgiveness

The story was great and so was the narration. I enjoyed every second of this book. A well told journey through pain, rejection, and loneliness that led to growth, acceptance, and love.

Relatable Characters and Challenging Message

Would you listen to Through the Deep Waters again? Why?

Yes! I loved how each of the characters where relatable. Each one of them brought a different perspective to the theme of the book. I couldn't stop listening!

What other book might you compare Through the Deep Waters to and why?

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. The situations were close and the theme of Christ's love and Him being the only one who is enough ran throughout.

Have you listened to any of Kate Turnbull’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not that I remember.
