Publisher's summary

American war hero Marine Staff Sergeant Natalia Falto has given her all and then some fighting the alien invaders. Made a prisoner of war in the fighting on Guam, she suffered at the clutches of alien scientists, losing both legs, an arm, and her ear. The psychological damage was even more devastating. Her replacement limbs may have made her whole in body, but all the tech in the world could not fill the gaps in her soul. And the world is about to learn that it is nearly impossible to keep a good Marine down.

When the US downs a massive alien ship in Greenland, they sent in the Army Rangers and the elite all-ASHUR Omega Force. They also sent a secret weapon, a person with experience living with the aliens for months during her internment—Natalia Falto.

The US isn't the only nation making a grab for the alien ship. The UK's elite Royal Marines, 45 Commando, beat the US to the ship. While the Americans and British square off, it becomes clear that the alien Fish have insidious plans of their own.

With the British and the Americans at each others throats, and in their enemy's sights, their best hopes lie with the one person who is riding the tides of her redemption!

Great final book to season 1

I have enjoyed the Land & Sea series since the first book, Splashdown, came out. While the first books set the stage and started out more as a mystery, this book dives head long into the war as they shoot down one of the alien craft for the first time. Noah Michael Levine does an excellent job narrating this book switching accents between the American and British forces.

One of my favorite characters written by Blaine L. Pardoe, Natalia Falto is prominent in this story. She is coming to grips with what she has endured and who she will be going forward. There are many more great characters as well.

Of all of the Land & Sea series to this point, this book is my favorite. There are many elements reminiscent of Aliens as they explore the alien craft. Some questions about the aliens are answered and many more mysteries are revealed yet to be explained.

Great story and a great adventure

The narrator did a pretty good job on English accents.
Still would like to hear sound effects and a second female narrator for female characters.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, for once.

“I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish, if we were facing a threat from outside this world.” While this concept is untrue for so much of human nature and human government, it is definitely given another look in book 6 of land and sea. Another solid novel from Blaine, looking forward to the next one.

As always, Blaine's writing and the way he can make the characters real it what stands out the most to me.

The book, the entire Land and Sea series has been AMAZING!!!! PLEASE DO MORE! Also, the person narrating does an excellent job! Please don't go to AI naration like some have.

Fantastic Story Growth

This was a great novel in the Land & Sea universe. It was nice to see more of the world development and not just the war between man and fish.
