Probably not for everyone

I was entertained, love Mark Tufo. Only complaint is a good hour + of the book wasted on descriptions of zombie deification (at least it seemed that way) and since I've read previous 2 Tim's seemed excessive.

THE ZOMBIE WHISPERER

GET OUT OF HELL CARD
Here I go again, going against the crowd. I loved TIM 1 and Tim 2, just read my reviews. I was excited about this book. My mistake, might have been, listening to it all in one day. For the first 5 hours I was loving it. In my mind he should have wound it up earlier instead of repeating everything over and over. I lost count of how many times I was told that when you eat a human and than excrete him out, it smells worse than any other excrement. The first time someone's penis was ripped off or eaten that was funny, the third time, NOT SO MUCH. I love books that come from the perspective of the bad guy and I appreciate Tufo creating this series. TIMOTHY was great simply for the novelty of it. In TIM 2, Tufo came up with the virus and a fat squeamish character. In Tim 3, he goes into a woman's body and the virus gets smarter. These were great additions. If only he would have left it at that and left out all the long lectures and flash backs and the constant repeating of the same jokes.
Sean was great.

It is a true Mark Tufo book – a sick, demented...

For every hero, there is an arch nemesis and vice versa. Evil Timothy has returned as has his nemesis Yorley. Having believed Timothy dead, Yorley goes off to survive in a world full of zombies. Well, for a while anyway - until Timothy can find her!

Timothy, however, is NOT dead – not by a long shot. He continues his reign of terror while living as a host-parasite with Manny and Scarlet in Scarlet’s body. From here, the fun begins as does the truly evil antics of Timothy. We are privy to why and how he became Timothy and we see the inner workings of his fears, mind and decision process. There is no doubt that Timothy is not one to be messed with for any reason. His mind knows no boundaries, there is nothing this guy won’t do to inflict even the littlest amount of pain.

Scarlet is a stunning woman forced to share a domicile (her body) with vile Tim-Tim as she likes to call him; as well as with Manny who is the virus and keeps their body healthy but dominates Scarlet. Manny only turns control over to his slave, Timothy in order to find food.

This is a very intense book. It is a true Mark Tufo book – a sick, demented, twisted bad-ass guy who has internal arguments laced with sarcasm and the most gut retching bathroom humor which only makes you grow fond of the bad guy!

Rich dialog and vivid descriptions and situations that suck the listener in and holds them hostage until the last second of the audio. The ending will stop you in your tracks! You won’t be able to breathe.

I have always enjoyed Mark Tufo’s books, each and every one of them. I enjoyed the creative twists in this book but … well, I am still struggling with the ending. Timothy is one of those characters that you can’t help but hate yet love too – you want to see him catch a break but then he does something so horribly vile you hope he dies. You keep expecting Timothy to somehow transform into a good guy – it won’t happen but .... one can hope.

Sean Runnette, narrator, does an excellent job! He becomes the characters in the book – he becomes the book itself – he blends into the story so adeptly that one cannot imagine a Tufo book without him. His voice oozes sarcasm, indignation, delight, confusion, fear – all emotions appropriately and with just the right amount. I could listen to Runnette narrate for hours on end. Talented and perceptive – he gets the characters and portrays them verbally providing the listeners with one enthralling listen!

No issues with the audio production of this book.

Absolutely loved it.

There is no doubt this was the best Tim yet. I can't really say there was anything at all I disliked. Gratuitous violence and my continuous feeling of nauseousness at some of the situations made for an awesome listening experience. The Tufo humor you get with all of marks books was excellent, I had a few people at work ask me if I was okay because I was laughing so hard with my ear buds in. For all the Tufo maniacs if you listen thoroughly you will find little things Mark put into the books for his chronic listens.
As for the narration you can never go wrong with Sean Runnette. Sean somehow always brings the writing to life. Overall I would say this was one of the best books I've listened to this year.

Nice third book in the series! A fans must!

The Tim series of books are a bit different than what we usually get from Mark Tufo but I believe there is a place for them in any fans library. Be warned, they are a bit graphic and gross but I enjoy them just the same. If your a Tufo fan then what are you waiting for?
