HACKLE COUNTY, BOOK II

Between confronting mask burners and calling out pandemic profiteers, it’s getting harder for Hackle County health inspector April Islip to do her job. Having a supportive boyfriend would be nice, but ever since she told Clay Nolan about time travel, he’s been avoiding her. To protect April from a new threat, her boss puts her in charge of COVID-19 testing. But danger finds April once again, transporting her back in time to save Hackle County’s future.

Great Read

Time Faults (Hackle County #2) was a good read by Pamela Ferguson. It’s getting hard for April Islip to do her job as the Hackle County Health Inspector. Once she told Clay Nolan about time travel, he has been avoiding her. Her boss puts her in charge of COVID-19 testing in order to protect her from a new threat. She’s transported back in time to save Hackle County’s future. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Fun, Short (2 hr) Escapist Time Travel Tale

The story continues (read book 1 of series first!) in this tale of a county health worker who has a small time travel jaunt. This is a little (2 hour) escapist tale with which to celebrate the end of the Covid regulations. WARNING: This book does NOT finish the story The books are more chapters in a bigger story, than stand alone stories.

This was a good read.Set during the pandemic,April ,health and safety,is trying to keep people safe. She gets push back and nearly killed which sends her back to the 70's and may change her life again. Stephanie Dillard was a very good narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Time and COVID

A health inspectors life is complicated by anti-vax protesters and PPE speculators ...and then there's that inconvenient time travel stuff but since this is her second jump so April's more or less got the hang of it in this second book in the Hackle County series.
It's a fun story - short so it'll fill an afternoon or a short trip. Timely and entertaining.

FAULTS OF TIME IN THE PAST

MONICA FINDS HERSELF FACING OPPOSITION OF DISGRUNTLED PEOPLE WHO DO NOT WANT TO WEAR MASKS. WHICH IF YOU ARE HONEST. NO ONE WANTS TO!! BUT IT HAS HELPED SAVE COUNTLESS LIVES AND THE STORY REALLY DOES GIVE A NOD OF APPRECIATION TO THE HEALTHCARE AND FIRST RESPONDERS WHO HAVE FOUGHT TO SURVIVE AND HELP HUMANITY IN THE TRYING TIMES OF THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC.
BUT CHOICES WE MAKE EVERY DAY CAN AND WILL CHANGE OUR FUTURE. NOT JUST OURS BUT GENERATIONS TO COME.
IS THERE MORE TO THIS SERIES?

Another Great Installment in the series!

This is the second installment in the Hackle County series. I love this series of short stories! The cover is beautiful! The story is set during the pandemic. April and Clay's adventures continue where the first book left off. I liked the humor, the romance and the twists and turns. Now, I am looking forward for more in the series. Stephanie Dillard did a great job with the narration.
