Publisher's summary

Managing the bar at Joker's Sin, a gay nightclub, is Max's dream job. Where many seek fame or fortune, he's living his best life, surrounded by family and friends. The only thing he doesn't have is the guy to complete him.

Lane, a.k.a. Sparkles, sees too much of the person he used to be when he looks at Max, and none of it is good. But the stubborn man won't let up, and when Sparkles' past threatens to unravel his whole life, it's Max who steps in to save him.

Can these two opposites push past their differences to see just how right they are for each other? Will they get a chance before it all falls down around them? Or is their love one to die for?

Contains mature themes.

Redemptive Regret

You can't always hide from your past even when you gloss over it with glitter and gold. But when it comes back to haunt you, you'll be surprised that you somehow built your own "village" along the way and they won't let you down.

10 Stars!

This book was sooooo good! I loved everything about it. Max and Sparkles stole my heart! The resolution to their “Dorian” problem was perfect. The narration was amazing! Can’t wait for the next one!

My absolute favourite of all Haven Hart stories

Omg I was SO sure that this would be about Max and Shane and did not even want to start, but OMG! I loved it from the beginning to the end. Tank the Mighty is my soul animal.

Great story, fabulous characters

I love when a series gets better and better! To Die For continues the Joker’s Sin series with Max and Sparkles’ story. And what a story! The plot just keeps getting better and better. Sparkles is a great character- bold, sassy, independent, flirty, with a giant secret from his past coming back to haunt him. Through the story, Max, the bartender from Joker’s Sin, is revealed as more than just a guy looking for endless hook-ups. Both characters have such depth and goodness. The story is riveting and the ending is just fantastic. Philip Alces does his usual great performance, and I was thrilled that John Solo’s performance was much better than the previous book. He did a good job portraying Sparkles.

ANOTHER WINNER!

This is the 2nd story surrounding couples at Joker's Sin, and it just keeps getting better, and better. The couples are well developed and definitely interesting. You will totally become invested in their story. Even to the point that in a few occasions while listening, you'll find yourself talking and giving advice, like they can hear you. lol😄I love and have been very impressed with Davidson-King and her writing skills, the way she creates her characters with exceptional storylines. I also like the fact that with her series, she continues to stay with her same two narraters. JS & PA are killing it with their dual narration. They have given these characters life. You can feel every emotion that they are experiencing, which makes this valuable story even better. If your looking to hear/read/ a top-notch story, I highly recommend this series. I can't wait until the next installment..I'm hooked and invested, and you will be too!😊☆☆☆☆☆👍🏾

Annoying

I really liked the first book, but this one was annoying. Every time Lane could tell the truth he lied and didn’t do himself any favors. So annoying

Fair. Love Sparkles!

The storyline wasnt bad, but the whole Dorian-stalking-threatening thing was SO repetitive.

Also, narration not terrible, just not good enough to finish series.
