There is no slow buildup to the story, it grabs you from the very first sentence. Katie is a girl who has spent the majority of her life alone, having no one to rely on since she was 15. Holt is a hero firefighter who has a great family. Katie and Holt have a unique dynamic of protection. Katie finds herself in life and death situations while Holt is definitely a man who knows what we wants and will do anything to protect what’s his.

The narrative of the story is great, so expressive and really gets emotions across.

Gotta love this book. It starts off with a bang and keeps on giving. Narrator has perfected the art. Gold stars to her as well.

If you’re looking for a plot with great depth, this may not be the read for you. If you’re interested in a love story with a sweet southern firefighter and a first time romance, check this out. I normally enjoy hearing the male and female POV but the single narrator did not disappoint.

Where does Torch rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is my first audio book to be honest so I can't rank it among others, but I have to say that I liked this enough that I want to listen to more!

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the mystery and suspense in this book.

What does Erin Felgar bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator has a great voice for audio, her voice draws you in to the story and makes you want to listen to more.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book was extremely entertaining and I found it engaging!

I would recommend to anyone looking for a sexy listen that keeps you guessing until the end. The narration is a solid 5 stars, I'll be looking for more books narrated by Erin Felgar.

Really enjoyed the book. First I’ve listened or read to by this author. I enjoyed that it had intimate moments and a good struggle fight scene. Will be getting the next book in series

I thought the narrator did a fantastic job. I loved the connection between Katie and Holt. I felt bad for Katie that she was so alone. All this poor girl wanted was a family of her own. She meets Holt when her home is set on fire and he saves her life...in more ways than she could ever imagine. They both had that instant spark and connection. I loved how Holt refused to let her go. Toward the end of the book the action really picks up and I didn't want to stop listening to the book.

Really enjoyed the story and the performance. Will definitely check out the other books in this series.

The romance is completely vanilla, there is no heat. The story flowed well but it just wasnt my type of book. I wont listen to the others.
