About this listen

Reunited after their harrowing time spent apart during World War II, Allison and Logan have successfully patched their marriage and discovered a new level of commitment to one another. But when Lady Joanna dies in 1971, changes begin to reshape the lives of the Stonewycke descendants.

In this dramatic sequel to Shadows over Stonewycke, authors Phillips and Pella continue the soaring saga of Allison and Logan Macintyre and the Stonewycke Estate in Scotland.

Still so Great

After decades I listened to the books I loved many years ago. Still deep, well written, engaging in plot, both long term and short. I feel as though I’m saying goodbye to well known friends at the end. Few books have this quality for me. The narrator is a voice I will hear for a long time in memory of the telling of the story. Love it. Miss it already and will listen to more of Phillips books now that I’ve enjoyed this.

Davina Shines

I got this because it was narrated by Davina Porter; I have enjoyed her storytelling before. It started slowly and iI almost quit listening. I'm glad I hung on, excellent story and Davina delivered in spades!

The treasure of a Family Legacy

The drama in these 2 volumes is compelling and the integration of relationships is intriguing. I would like to know more about the 40 years while Maggy was in America.
The inspirational vignettes are so refreshing and enlightening. This is truly an incredible literary masterpiece.

Just Okay...

This was the first Stonewycke novel I had listened to and was just merely satisfied. It was not what I consider a facinating, spellbinding book. It was okay. Perhaps if I had listened to the previous stories of Stonewycke and knew the background of the characters, I would have found it more interesting. My recommendation is to listen to them first.
