was ok

This was an ok book. The only problem was there were no surprises, and no drama. If it weren't for Davina Porter I probably wouldn't listen to this series.

Excellence Remembered

It was the Stonewycke stories that lured me to the love of reading decades ago. It was hear that Michael Phillips became my favorite author. I had to go back with audible and experience it again and thoroughly enjoy the work again. The narrator did not disappoint. I will finish the last two books this week during the covid 19 lockdown.

Loved it and Ms Porter does an excellent job reading it

Read it a couple of times a couple of decades ago and was delighted to find it on audible.

Should go under Christian literature.

Much of this book is Christian inspirational, so if that's what you're looking for this is the book for you. If you wanted something non-denominational you will be disappointed.

Boring

Wow was this boring, slow and awful. Don't recommend at all. Surprised Davina narrated this book as I choose books that she narrates

Cristian religious text dressed up as historical

Very heavy handed christian text in the thin guise of historic fiction. Davia Porter makes it better, but I could not finish it.
