A third interconnected standalone in the universe of TikTok sensation Say You Swear, from bestselling author Meagan Brandy.

I loathe the day I ran smack dab into the hard chest of Alister Howl, Avix University's second-string quarterback. The moment he smiled my way, I should've run. And, well, I did…straight into his bed.

That was before I learned he was nothing but a liar. He ruined everything before it even began.

Unfortunately for me, he takes my dismissal as a challenge and comes back twice as hard.

I didn't think it would work, but the man's relentless, and now I'm wavering when I'm not so sure I should.

How can I be with him if I can't trust him?

And that right there is exactly how I end up at a party, locking lips with the campus playboy and ultimate bachelor, Brady freaking Lancaster.

One second, I'm hiding from Alister in some sorority house, and the next…I'm "Brady's girl."

I have no idea how it happened or where things go from here.

But one thing is for sure, fake dating one football player while his teammate tries to win me back is going to be one hell of a ride…

What a perfect ending to our amazing Avix kids. Ugh. This book was so good. I really felt for the love triangle, and was hardcore rooting for Cam and Brady the whole time. Great story, and perfect ending. ALSO AMAZING NARRATION.

Meagan Brandy books feel like a mystery you’re constantly trying to solve, in the best way! And while you might be able to call a few things, you’ll never guess them all. The build-up between these three characters was everything we needed and so much more. At the start, Meagan does such a great job making you question who your favorite MMC might be, but I knew from the beginning my heart belonged to the one Cameron ended up with. The HEA is the absolute sweetest. Meagan doesn’t rush the romance. 👏 The slow burn gave so much room for character growth, healing, and those little moments that made the final payoff so worth this beautiful ride.

The rest of this review will likely contain spoilers you may or may not want to read, but I guarantee by the end, you’ll want to pick up this beautiful book. I’m usually not the biggest fan of love triangles, but I’ve learned that Meagan always writes them in the most tender, thoughtful way. And for that, I’ll always be a fan of her love triangles. Has she turned me into a full-blown love triangle lover? No. But if Meagan Brandy writes it, I’ll read it, every time. They’re like soft love triangles… if that makes sense.

The emotional tension in this book was next level. Between the unresolved past, the lingering hurt, and the undeniable pull between Cameron and Brady, every page had me hooked!

I freakin’ loved Cameron. She was spunky, bold, and most of all, so good at expressing her boundaries. She may have been walked on in the past, but watching her rise above it and stand firm in what she deserved was so empowering. Her growth, her strength, and the way she owned her story made me fall for her even more.

Brady... the lovable mountain man! Ahhhh, where do I even begin? The heart on this man. Huge doesn’t even begin to describe it. He played the cocky football player role so well, soaking up all the attention from the ladies. But as his layers started to peel back, we got to see the soft, vulnerable side underneath, and you can’t help but root for him. Meagan is so damn good at writing cocky playboys, and Brady is no exception. What I didn’t expect was how deeply he’d feel, how fiercely he’d love, and how hard he’d fight for what he wanted once he figured it out. Beneath all that swagger was a man who would move mountains for the people he cares about, and watching that transformation was everything.

Welp. I warned you. If you’ve made it this far, I’m sure it’s no surprise who my favorite MMC was Brady, without a doubt!

And while I could gush about how sweet Alister was, especially toward the end of the book, he just didn’t compare to Brady for me. Still, he made a solid effort, and Meagan did such a great job with how their story unraveled. Even the relationship between Alister and Brady, there was so much respect there. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where Meagan takes Alister in the rest of the series!

Now that I’m done gushing over these three… can I just say I am soooo ready for Chase’s redemption arc?! His presence in this book was PERFECT. I’m so ready!

And getting to see sweet Mason, Paige, and Deaton… and Ari and Noah!!! Meagan!! 😭 We NEEDED that! Getting to revisit characters like Mason, Paige, Ari, and Noah made this feel like coming home. Meagan creates these interconnected worlds where every character matters.

Dual Narration

Wow. What a cast! My heart! These three freakin’ nailed this performance. I’ve only had the pleasure of listening to Aubrey one other time, but Liam and Corvin are two of my all-time favorites, and they did such an incredible job bringing these characters to life. Corvin played Brady and it was absolute perfection. He captured Brady’s charm, swagger, and hidden vulnerability so well. You could feel the shift when Brady’s emotional walls started to come down. Every cocky line, every soft moment. Corvin delivered. Liam player Alister, he did such an incredible job bring out his sweet remorseful character after everything. You could feel the heartbreak and patience Liam brought to Alister's character!! Aubrey player Cameron guving ger just the right amount of fire to her personality, while also highlighting on Cameron more softer side. It was so well done. These three together brought this book to life. And i can't recommend it enough!

If you're a fan of the fake dating trope, 'Trust Me Always' by Meagan Brandy should be on your TBR list! This book features a subtle love triangle as we follow Cameron, who navigates her feelings for two men in her life in a heartfelt and engaging story. In the end, she chooses the one man she truly loves. I have always appreciated Brandy's unique storytelling style. While 'Say You Swear' holds a special place in my heart as my all-time favorite of her works, I found myself thoroughly captivated by this latest addition to her series.

Brady is truly the gentle giant with the biggest heart. I love how we go on this ride with Cam and Brady with the whole crew coming along. The right amount of a angst, a bit of anger due to a lil miscommunication and how Meghan Brandy pulls at your heart strings to ultimately put the puzzle pieces together. Truly makes such an awesome picture. Love this series. Can't wait for the next.

Brady just made his way to number 1 book boyfriend for me. This book is a 6 star read and the narrators are my favorite. Corvin as Brady - get out!!! Total perfection. Liam….swoon. This will be an annual reread/listen for me. I’m obsessed!

Meagan Brandy has done it again! I absolutely loved reading Cameron’s story, and love how it all turned out. I won’t spoil it for you, but I was not disappointed with the end result in the least. I have always loved Brady’s protective, playful attitude; and I also loved hearing more about Alister’s story. He really did get a rough deal in the previous books (not excusing what he did though!). I simply cannot get enough of this friend/family group, and will read every single story she writes about them!

Another amazing love story!

I didn’t know I needed this book. I was not excited when I found out this one was a love triangle but I must say, this was done so well! Bravo Meagan! It was also a slow burn and , sometimes, those can get annoying, but I didn’t even notice in this book. Such a great book and awesome love story. Brady is 🥰🥰🥰 So happy for Cam and Brady. Ready for Chase to get his redemption in the next book!
