Publisher's summary

Rollo is the overworked, stressed-out Head Elf at the North Pole. As he prepares for Christmas Eve, he has to deal with toys that look like they're having sex, terrorist reindeer, and worst of all, the sudden death of Santa Claus. Rollo has to save Christmas after he finds out that Santa is not just dead - he is undead.

A Santa Story Definitely Not for Kids!

What made the experience of listening to 'Twas the Night the most enjoyable?

It was such a funny twist on an old classic tale. What kind of a twisted mind would make Santa a vampire? Loved it!

What other book might you compare 'Twas the Night to and why?

No other book compares to this one in its originality and humor.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Rollo saves Christmas for all the children of the world on Christmas Eve.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Lots of laughing-I love the author's sense of humor!

Any additional comments?

Fred Wolinsky does a fabulous job of bringing life to these characters. Each character's unique personality shines through in his interpretation of the story.

It' just ok

Any additional comments?

I guess I expected too much from this humorous audiobook. It was not as funny as I thought. But it was enough to keep me company on the road.

Bob @ Platypire Reviews

What made the experience of listening to 'Twas the Night the most enjoyable?

The story itself is hilarious, and the narrator has a voice that I find pleasant. His voice changes and accents were good, too!

What did you like best about this story?

It FRESH. Not a story you've read over and over with different words.

What about Fred Wolinsky’s performance did you like?

EVERYTHING.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

I fully intend to listen to this over and over again.

A Yuletide Nosferatu

Would you listen to 'Twas the Night again? Why?

I definitely will, it was hilarious! Thinking it will have to be a holiday tradition. Vampires, Frankenstein, the elf holiday party orgy... You just can’t go wrong with this book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Besides the head elf, Rollo.. I would have to say Rudolph 'The Nose' reindeer. With his unfortunate attraction to decorative reindeer displays.

Which scene was your favorite?

The entire book is my favorite scene! Its nonstop hilarity.

Any additional comments?

Fred Wolinsky did a great job with the narration.
