In the second seductive LOST novel from New York Times best-selling author Cynthia Eden, an obsessed Last Option Search Team agent goes looking for trouble - and finds her in the Big Easy.
Dean Bannon comes to New Orleans for one reason only: to track down a missing 16-year-old girl. That's before he meets the drop-dead gorgeous con artist who makes him want to lose his legendary control.
With her past, Emma Castille doesn't claim to be psychic. She just notices things other people don't. Like the fear in a runaway's eyes - or the pain in an ex-FBI agent's heart. Her chemistry with Dean is blistering, but Emma follows her passion...not someone else's orders.
Then a madman breaks into Emma's home and leaves a twisted message: You're next. Now Dean refuses to let her out of his sight until he pries every last secret from her full, sexy lips. And suddenly Emma's aching to give him everything he wants.

Any additional comments?
Cynthia Eden has a way with mysteries. She keeps you entertained and always guessing. We spend time listening to Sarah telling Emma what happened between Dean and the killer just to turn around and have Dean tell Emma what happened between him and the killer. WTH was the point in Sarah telling her if Dean was going to, too? Crazy, right?
And when Sarah was with Agent Elroy and he was raising hell with her about the dead body she hadn’t even seen yet, wanting every kind of information possible, immediately. Yelling at her that she was supposed to be the best and he’d talked to other agents in the FBI and they’d vouched for her and, yada, yada, yada. Why the hell did she have to pacify this jerk? I just kept waiting for her to really let him have it and all she did was, pretty much, kiss his a$$. That was very disappointing. I know there was a point to it but it was still annoying.
Of course, then there was the surprise of all surprises. I nearly fell over. And that took care of the two little things that bothered me.
Loved seeing the team again: Gabe, Wade, Sarah and Victoria, a talented and damaged group of people.
The secondary characters were good, to: Agent Elroy, a real jerk. Kevin, Dean’s FBI ex-partner. Jax, Emma’s ex-lover. Carlos, Jax’s right hand man. Julia, poor little thing. And the serial killer, what a sicko.
As always, there was great sexual tension and great sex.
As to the narrator: Another wonderful job with everyone's voice. She made a couple of them sound a little rough and gruff but it wasn't so bad that it took away from the story.
Loved it..
