About this listen

Stephanie Plum once again takes to the mean streets of Trenton, NJ, armed with attitude (not to mention stun guns, defense sprays, killer flashlights, and her untrustworthy .38) to find Kenny Mancuso, who recently left the army, inadvertently shot his best friend, and is on the run in violation of a bond. Aided by her tough bounty hunter couch and her irrepressible Grandma Mazur, Stephanie once again forms a rocky alliance with fast talking, slow-handed vice cop Joe Morelli for the tumultuous chase through back alleys and Grandma's favorite funeral parlors.

Witty, fresh, and full of suprises, Two for the Dough is the Stephanie Plum sequel fans have been waiting for.

I like Lori Petty as a reader

I listened to the first book unabridged read by Critt...it was good but I like Lori Party's voice. Her accent makes Two for The Dough sound more "real".... to me...(my sons' father's paternal grandfather was an Italian immigrant and the family settled in New Jersey).
I am curious to know if there is an unabridged version of this book though since it appears Ms Petty read an abridged version of the first book. hmmmmm....
wish I had purchased the longer version though....maybe I can purchase it and compare before purchasing other books in this series

Fun Fun Fun

I Love Janet Evanovich. I never read this type of ?lighthearted fiction? until I was stuck on a long flight and I ended up laughing lots along the way. A good time and I have fun visualizing the scenes. Stephanie Plum is a great character- her life and her family is an enjoyable mess.

New narrator needed

I really enjoy the actual story, but the lady reading it needed more of a soothing voice instead of the little girl annoying sound that we hear.

I laughed till I cried

This book was recommended to me as a nice change from the serious mysteries I usually read. What a surprise. I loved this book. It was entertaining, funny and full of surprises. Down loaded the next book and can't wait to start it.
