Publisher's summary
In the freezing night sky over Nazi Germany, Harry Wakefield faces a terrible choice - jump from his crippled RAF bomber without a parachute or burn to death as it crashes to earth.
Harry jumps...and survives the long fall with barely a scratch.
Twenty years later, a powerful earthquake rocks the Berwyn Mountains in North Wales, waking Harry and his family from their sleep. Convinced that a plane has crashed on a nearby peak, Harry races up the mountain, only to discover the wreckage is not an aircraft. It’s something else entirely.
And there’s a living, breathing survivor.
As government forces lock down the mountain, others converge on the area, dark agents of powerful organisations who know the truth about extraterrestrials and their long history of earthly visitations.
As the noose slowly tightens, Harry and his family must choose between betraying their strange visitor or evading the ruthless hunters determined to suppress all public knowledge of a bizarre and frightening phenomenon....
One that Harry has witnessed before in the skies over Nazi Germany.

Story
My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.
