Publisher's summary

This audiobook is designed to dispel the myths we have about emotions, showing how to treat them in such a way that they no longer become a burden.

We are often faithful to emotions, feeling somehow owned by them, when in fact, emotions depend on us. We need not cling to them or take them so seriously. They are energy movements which would not exist if we were not here to witness them.

This book aims to show that we need not label our emotions in any way. We need not regulate or police ourselves. We can relinquish suppressing something because we believe it is "wrong" to feel a certain way - this is all just conditioning.

What this book will give you:

  • Greater sense of peace from no longer making rules about how you should and should not feel.
  • Emotional healing tools and emotional healing techniques so that the emotional healing process can take place naturally.
  • Greater sense of lightness and ease, which may come as a result of going through the stages of emotional healing.
  • Realization that your thoughts are not problems.
  • Clarity in seeing that any painful emotions are somehow attempting to protect you.
  • Ways to forgive yourself and others and have a greater self-healing ability.
  • Ways to effectively deal with challenging or painful emotions in yourself and in others.
  • More enjoyable life experience that flows from a deeper intelligence.

You will also learn how to naturally deal with and release anger, boredom, jealousy, loneliness, anxiety, conflict, emotional pain, resistance, suppression, suffering, depression, fear, regret, and guilt as well as how to stop being concerned about other’s opinions and how to forgive yourself and others.

You will also learn that all of your thoughts and emotions are not as personal as they appear to be. They come and they go in the awareness that you are.

Why this book?

This book was authored after suffering a great deal myself from a highly overactive mind, depression, anxiety, frustration, and anger at the world, and coming out the other side with emotional healing tools and emotional healing techniques that are counterintuitive and yet very simple to use. This emotional wellness book is a reflection of what has worked for me and what continues to work for others to release old traumas, destructive mind patterns, or emotional pains that you feel are holding you back.

This book on emotions and emotional wellness shows you that there is no correct way to feel and that the entire conflict with yourself, of trying to feel a certain way and resisting how you feel now, is what creates so much distress.

There is so much in the self-help world about happiness, emotional wellness, emotional healing, present moment awareness, abundance, joy, and happiness, that when we feel the opposite of these things. We unknowingly create an inner conflict, feeling there must be something wrong with us.

Throw out the “how to feel” rule book, and suddenly what was troubling you begins to loosen up.

This emotional wellness book is perfect if you are looking for a book on emotions, emotional healing tools, help with emotions, or an emotions guidebook that looks into improving mental or emotional health.

Now, with a bonus chapter on the stages of emotional healing and help with the emotional healing process, including what traps people can fall into and how to avoid them.

I hope you enjoy the emotional wellness audiobook and get great use out of it.

Adam Oakley as usual another excellent book

Considering the author narrated his own book, there was no robotic, spastic, hard to understand narration, only clear delivery and plenty of inflection exactly where it was supposed to be. Content is easily explained and should be simple enough for anyone that has spent even a small amount of time in spirituality to be able to have many Aha moments and bring hopefully a lot of relief in the same breath. If Audible weren't removing it's Windows app, I'd be looking forward to his next audiobook, as is, I'll be waiting for his next paperback instead as I have lost all faith in anything electronic including Kindle content. If you use Audible app for Windows because of it's ease of use, as opposed to a phone that gets hot after so many minutes, interrupts audiobooks with alerts, calls etc and if you despise Alexa or iTunes or any other invasive hardware/software, please contact Audible by phone and let them know you want them to keep making a Windows app or kiss you library goodbye if you're solely reliant on the Windows app for listening. Anyway, book is awesome and so clear. Adam Oakley does a great job with all of his work.

Very good book

Even being already familiar with the concepts of this book, I feel it is great the practical way that the author explain it adding to the repetition that we all need in other to “internalize” it all. I’ll listen several times more.
