I found this book mediocre. I liked the author’s fourth wing and iron flame books, although I am not a fan of the explicit sex scenes that get really drawn out. This book was boring. Yes, there were explicit sex scenes. However the story about an egotistical woman wanting casual sex and not a relationship with a man that loves her and she loves, was way too drawn out. She had baggage, but instead of working on it, she chose to be a coward and emotionally lacking. I did not like her character at all. It was just boring.

The h in this story was sooooo sad. She maybe a successful woman but she had loooow self esteem. She was soooo dumb not seeing how good the H was. It took over four hours for her to really realized that the H is the one. This author was new to me. Good writing but sad main characters. Not sure if I want to listen more from this author

I always read the reviews "could not put down" and assume people are being dramatic. But this book is AMAZING. I listened to a few of her other books and she is extraordinary. would 100% recommend.

I've listened to a lot of Kelly's books. This one... within the first two chapters she's used the F word to much. Tired of hearing in the world. Can I not listen to book without hearing it over and over? Truly, does everyone use this language? I think not. I wish I could return the book. I've enjoyed all her other ones, this one... not so much

I kept wanting this book to just hurry up. I didn’t like the character. There was so much delay in explaining why she behaved the way she behaved. Really the whole relationship was just pretty unbelievable and not that interesting. She didn’t deserve Jake and Jake was an idiot for waiting around on someone that was such a b****. I think you can read the first two books and skip this one altogether. And also, I hate it when a man narrator tries to make a woman’s voice. It’s terrible.
