Excellent Resource for dealing with Grief
This book is thoughtfully written, offering validation for the feelings and sometimes destructive behavior that go with losing a loved one. This really hit home with me as I've experienced the sudden loss of my dad, my nephew, and my oldest brother. I wish I had these tools back then, but I am grateful I have them now. The author starts out by explaining the five stages of grief, which I've heard about before, but she explains in a way I had not understood before. This book is packed with great information. A few of my favorites: I loved the example of guided imagery meditation to achieve calm. I can't wait to try it for myself. I also found the "Grief Integration" she explained fascinating. This eased my guilt and fears of forgetting how they look, how they sound, and how they made me feel. The workbook is absolute gold! If you are dealing with grief or know someone who is, grab a copy of this book; you will not be disappointed. Highly Recommend.
