Like having a supportive friend by your side
If you're struggling with the raw, confusing emotions of sudden loss, this book feels like a gentle hand guiding you through the stages of grief. I liked how it encouraged emotional expression, in particular the art suggestion about creating something to memorialize moments that were meaningful in their life. Most of all I liked the workbook exercises because you can explore your feelings at your own pace. Altogether making it just a little easier to move forward. Definitely healing
