Unusual Metahuman Story

Where does Untouched: The Girl in the Box, Book 2 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

About 6/10 of all the types of the audiobooks that I listened to so far.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The fight with the metahuman who was going to nuke Minneapolis. I think that they needed to build the characters more. There was a good portion of the book was on heroine's physical battles.

What does Annie Sullivan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think the reader makes you think that she is actually the "girl in the box". Annie Sullivan read with emotion and feeling.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A tormented metahuman is out of control and must be stopped.

Any additional comments?

It was an interesting story, It keeps your attention. It is better if you listen or read the first book.

great series

I enjoy audiobooks for my commute. This series is perfect for the drive. It has a normal world but fantastical characters, a fast paced story, a sarcastic heroine, and a heroic cast that saves the day & makes my drive interesting.

good narration

The girl in the box 2

This second book took a complete twist from the first, had I known I would not have purchased it. Although it was well written, kept your attention, I found it to violent and did not appreciate the language. The characters were easy to follow but I gave a lower mark because as I said the violence was more than I choose to listen too.

Basic Young Adult Book

Not impressed at all. The narrator was drone-like and the story weak. I read the 2nd book hoping it was better than the 1st. No go!
