Publisher's summary

Fighting for her life in a death-match is the perfect cover.

The Valerie's Elites Boxed Set includes the entire series at a great price!

It started as a simple intel mission. Then it turned sideways.

Valerie goes off mission, trusting her gut and wits more than her physical abilities to get on the inside, to help bring justice to the slaves and the downtrodden. She is, after all, the justice enforcer.

In the process, she finds herself teaming up with locals to take down an empire, right a cascade of wrongs, and kick some serious ass.

Valerie was chosen by the dark messiah himself. She can’t turn a blind eye to what she finds on tol. From star-ship battles, to infiltrating a prison ship, to fighting death matches and taking on mechs in a valiant effort to set this planet straight, join Valerie and her elites as they export her brand of justice.

The Valerie's Elite Boxed Set includes the complete Valerie's Elites series, which includes: Valerie's Elites, Death Defied, Prime Enforcer, and Justice Earned.

Note: If cursing is a problem, then this might not be for you.

Valerie's Adventure

By far the Reclaiming Honor and Valerie’s Elites series are my favorites in the KGU and would love to see more Robin, Valerie and the rest of the team. Both series are more Sci- Fi action-adventure with a little mystery thrown in and a little romance on the side.

Valerie’s Elites

I love the overall story in Valerie's Elites and found it wonderful that Valerie and Robin finally stop denying their feelings, which could have been better developed throughout the series. Some of the books seemed a little rushed with the plot and to short but even so the books were wonderful to read and listen to without a lot of filler between actual character dialogue.
I sure hope there will be more in this series or another series with Robin, Valerie and the rest of the team.

Valerie as an enforcer

I enjoyed learning more of what Valerie went on to do after leaving the Bad Company. She has her own ship and crew. The crew is loyal to her. They meet many aliens and make friends and enemies. The characters are a hoot at times and this series kept me interested and not wanting to stop. The narrator did a fine job with the story. This was a nice addition to the Kurtherian Universe.

Young Adult Fiction?

I have no problem at all with the performance, but I do have a problem with the writing. Or, perhaps it was my mistake and I didn’t realize that this was fiction for young adults. It is very simplistic, the characters are one dimensional, the dialog is immature, and they are still caught up in xenophobia, gender identity even for non-humans, and all the things I’d expect to hear from athletes on a high school sports team. I would have hoped that humans in the far future would have learned a few things before they met other species.

Not great but not too terrible either...

Kate Rudd really hurts this series. Ive read some of the Reclaiming Honor series and listened to all the others. Also listened to this entire series. The ONLY accent Rudd can pull off is the American Millennial Cry Baby. Her French accent is PURELY ATROCIOUS!!! Her male voices all are flat and desensitized. They also are all nearly identical. Oh! Her sound effects are laughable at best and criminal at worst. She would sound more serious saying pew pew pew for weapons fire, instead of trying to add some reality to the sounds.
At least Valerie’s 2nd series is not stocked full of homosexual vs heterosexual innuendo, and/or political/religious beliefs. One can generally count on a US Marine to not waste time on religious and political agendas. We learn to co-survive & thrive in a world were you have to rely on the gun hands to your left & right in tight situations. So little things like going to Heaven, Valhalla, reincarnation, or simply an ending to it all seems awfully trivial with rounds flying atcha. But... back to the review... the story is fairly full of action. Sometimes overly drawn out action but the satisfaction is pretty much guaranteed, & not having to wait until the last few pages of the book to finally have the storyline all wrap up together. Some of the combat scenarios and tactical decisions the characters make prove that the author has had little experience working in an infantry fireteam and/or squad. Though some of it is way better than what nonmilitary civilian authors dream up and actually have published. Some of the characters are purely cowards no matter how much the author tries to write them otherwise. This series is a box set and worth a single credit, but not worth purchasing the books individually.
