About this listen

Includes all five books in the Vegas Aces: The Wide Receiver series.

Rookie Mistake, book one:

I fell for the boy next door, and then my father ripped it all away from us.

The first person to catch my eye in a long time is a colleague who tells me what we just did over his desk will never happen again.

Then my mother calls with news from back home. I have to head back to the small town my father forced me to leave seven years ago, knowing the boy I still love will show up, too.

When I finally see him, it's clear we have unfinished business. But it doesn't matter. His life is in the Vegas spotlight now, where he plays pro football and goes home to his wife. My life is in Chicago now, where I embark on a torrid affair with my colleague.

Then, two little pink lines show up with the power to change everything. The first time I saw them, my world imploded.

This time will be different. It has to be. I won't be making the same rookie mistake again.

Hidden Mistake, book two:

The boy next door is back, and so am I.

He's spending his NFL off-season in our small Midwestern town after seven long years away, and I'm in town for different reasons.

Memories shift to reality as we find ourselves in the place where we first fell in love. We're different people now, but I'm falling fast and hard for the man he is now.

But he's married. He's working to fix his mistakes, as I'm hiding a few of my own.

As we grow closer, I know I won't be able to keep these hidden mistakes a secret much longer. But if I tell him, I'm afraid I'll lose him all over again.

Honest Mistake, book three:

He's not the boy next door anymore, and I'm not the girl I used to be, either.

His life is in the spotlight as one of the most popular professional football players on the Vegas Aces, while I can't afford to have my secrets exposed. As we work together on a project benefitting our small Midwestern town, we easily slip back into the friendship we once shared.

He introduces me to the people he's closest to now, and I find myself fitting into his new life as he works to fix the mistakes of his past. But somebody's digging into my history, threatening to break us before we even get started.

It's time to be honest about my mistakes.

No Mistake, book four:

All I want is my happy ending with the boy next door.

Every time we get close, something threatens to break us. Half-sisters, town gossips, and jealous exes throw punch after punch, but we hold on tight to each other as we attempt to navigate the chaos.

With his life in the spotlight as a professional football player, I'm starting to feel like it might always be like this. All I can do is pray there's no mistake so big we can't overcome it together.

Favorite Mistake, book five:

The boy next door isn't next door anymore.

He's in Vegas, preparing for the upcoming NFL season, and I'm still stuck in the small Midwestern town where we grew up.

We should be together, but people wanted us apart. They won. Secrets are uncovered, and lives are forever torn apart.

Maybe it was a mistake to try to recapture what we once had after everything we'd been through.

But of all the mistakes I made in my life, he was my favorite, and I will never stop fighting for us.

Dear Author

Make it make sense...

1. He is a professional athlete with an attorney and he can't figure out how to get away from his wife.

2. They/she has a stalker and again he as a professional athlete doesn't hire a bodyguard.

3. She is keeping a huge secret but doesn't trust him.

4. There just happens to be a friend from high school after them. An ex wife after them and a crazy sister. A stalker from the sex club where you have to sign a NDA. Also how did she even qualify to get a membership. A crazy wife of the man she is having a baby with

5. After all the scares of people revealing her secret she still doesn't come clean.

6. He knows he's supposed do everything right but joins a sex club.

7. Her dad was also living a secret life because there wasn't enough crazy people.

8. None of their homes have security but he’s a professional.

You're doing too much. The drama is overwhelming. I DNF'ed the book 1/3 way through book 5.

Fellow readers don't waste your time. This book is drawn out, over dramatic, and doesn't make senses. Save your money. Returning the book cause I don't care how it ends.
