About this listen

It's no more Miss Nice Vampire.

Bo has turned her back on everything that's familiar and is now working for X, the dangerous Kakos daemon who demands that his identity be kept a secret. She's prepared to do just about anything to clean the streets of London of its crime, and she's no longer sure if she cares who gets hurt in the process. However, the vampire Families aren't going to be that easy to ignore. Lord Medici is continuing with his cold-blooded power bid while Michael is determined not to let Bo forget him. Add a mysterious case of a missing girl into the mix, and chaos is going to follow.

the narrator was excellent as always. It keeps you guessing but after reading the first 5 books you kind of get the formula and start seeing the foreshadowing. it's well done and fun. I kept relistening to parts to make sure I knew what was going on. I still struggle with some of the sequences that don't seem to make sense buy I'm a bit on the science side of scifi.

homeland meets trueblood.

I won't lie, the first chapter had me wondering what the heck was going on with Bo but thankfully I found out. The Red Angel went a bit rogue and no not as in the hacker!

Huge twist At rhe end.. wow.. reeling here!!!!

another in a great series

I'm totally confused by the ending of this #5 book. Series sometimes fall into the trap of having to out shock the last book in each remaining one. This was a shock but failed to make sense. The final results could have easily been avoided by other means by the perpetrator. Sorry, don't want to give anything away. Yes, I know this is fantasy but l like them best when they mirror real life. unlimited powers mean just that. I guess the 'lesson' is that revenge is never justified because of collateral damage?

I'm hoping next book in the series explains this ending!

This book was full of unexpected turns. Making it hard to stop listening to. It started a little bit slow for me and I was not thrilled with the course of action that our heroine took. Towards the middle and by the end I was definitely hooked! I am eager to see where Harper will take us next in this series. The narrator is outstanding.

Wow, I was not expecting that!
