Third book in, still struggling with the narration

It's hard to imagine someone thinking it was a good idea to dub the narrators voice multiple times to represent a group of singing sailors. I almost had to quit at this point despite being three books into the story. It was so bad. I wish the author had chosen a more experienced narrator for this story. Would have enjoyed it so much more.

Pretty intense story

The story is really good, with interesting plot development.
I know the author reads this, not an actor, but I’d expect his rhythm and intonation to be a little more natural.

Great addition to the series.

I love this series. This was just another phenomenal addition. I gave 4 stars on performance because during one part there was a bunch of people singing together and it just didn't seem right. It would have been better off with just one voice instead of trying to overlay a bunch over top of each other. That was just two minutes of the overall book though. Otherwise, it was perfect. I definitely recommend this one.

Book 4 soon?

I can’t get enough of this story. Great job again Mark! What a cliffhanger! I’ll be checking audible weekly!

Tough to stop listening!

I loved all 3 of these books. I never had an issue with the author's narration but I can understand maybe some people want to hear more accents. I got a feeling like the narrator was the main character probably because hes the author. I dont consider that a bad thing. I definitely reccomend the book.

Cliff Hanger

I am excited to know there is a book four. There are may cliff hangers that make me wonder if he is planning to change history or not.

not my normal style but the story and timing!

I love story's that make you want more the types that when you have to get back to reality you keep wanting to back and read/listen some more! This one of thouse give it 20 min into the series and you are over the hump of the authors reading and story telling stile and after book 1 you cant wait for 2 then 3. Now I want 4 today.... that says it all! Have Fun!

Great story

This one didn’t pick up until the last 3rd of the book. BUT I love this series. Looking forward for Architect. Mr. Rose does great at fledging out a story that takes multi book time. It is however loosing its “I’m from the future allure.” I hope that is continued to be a large part of the story. Thanks Mr. Rose - great books!

Third book in the series

This, the third book in the series, is suspenseful and entertaining. The first two books are also interesting and hard to put down. The attempts to change history are nowhere as successful as one might imagine. Hopefully there will be more books in the future to follow up of the dramatic loose end dangling as this third book ends. Interesting and entertaining are the two best descriptions of these books. IMO.

Great Story

Once you get over the poor narration, the story is really good. I feel like he did better in books 2 and 3 than 1, but still needs a professional narrator.
