About this listen

A Marine turned Greek god. An army of beautiful Amazons. One final battle against death itself.

Jacob Merely has secured the ultimate weapon against evil, the Crystal Scythe, and now it’s time for to bring the fight to Hades himself.

Unfortunately, Earl Necro Earl and his undead forces stand in the way, so if Jacob is going to take the God of Death out, he’s going to have to take Earl out first. Knocking Earl’s teeth into the back of his throat? Yeah, Jacob is totally okay with that.

And when a mysterious new woman arrives unexpectedly at their gates with no memory of who she is - but seems to know of a secret passageway into the heart of the Temple of Hades - Jacob finally has the last piece of the puzzle. But with every new battle won, Jacob is tempted to give into the rage and arrogance that consumed Ares.

Can Jacob resist the temptation to become a total douche bag? Can he and his Amazons unravel the mystery behind the ancient Olympian War and finish a battle as old as time itself? And what new demons does Hades have to throw against the War God?

Continue War God’s Mantle by James A. Hunter, author of Rogue Dungeon and the litRPG epic Viridian Gate Online, and Aaron Crash, author of the best-selling American Dragons series.

More please

This was a great way to make us want more. The story feels done but left an opening for so much more. I enjoyed every bit of this journey and Armen once again delivered an epic performance.

Welcome the new Pantheon

Loved the trilogy and cannot wait to see if more will be added to the list, or if another series will be started. Certainly excited either way 😁

Fantastic series

I love this series it captures a lot of what is missing from say a lit RPG saga.
I love the mythology of it and I also love the fact that it ties everything in very very cleanly you can certainly tell that Mr Hunter did his research on Greek mythology and the different myths and legends they're in throughout this entire series,
which is nothing short of what I've come to expect from Mr Hunter and his series that I have experienced thus far I think the shear setup at the end is fantastic and I expect very good things with the next book hopefully fingers crossed there will be without giving anything away this is a very good book and a very good series to boot thank you very much for your ability to create such amazing and fantastical worlds to throw yourselves into I appreciate everything you do with the writing of your series

Highly enjoyable!

Great finish to the trilogy, & the ending implied a sequel series; I can't wait!

Fabulous 3rd in series. Did not disappoint

The authors were able to write characters and a story that drew me in. It was interesting how they were able to capture Jacob's struggle to grow while maintaining his own identity. The Amazons were definitely written as strong female characters without losing their femininity. Armen Taylor narrated brilliantly.

Now, this is how you wrap up a book!

Wow, this book is so good I found myself laughing my butt off more times than not in this book. The other two books in the series were good no doubt about but this one completely takes the Cake. Without adding any heavy spoilers it was such a good decision by the author to make one character lose their mind it added a bunch of Comedy to it and hats off to the amazing narrator he did such a good job with vocalizing the depiction of Madness it was soo good. The section where you meet Daedalus is also absolutely phenomenal.

Everyone do your self's a favor and read this book.

A pleasant end to the series

This could have benefited from a female voice actor for the female characters.

An epic journey and final battle lead to the conclusion of the series. Nice that this is a trilogy and didn't drag on forever.
