The explosion of a Chinese freighter - carrying illegal workers - in Charleston Harbor is the first sign that someone is capping Chinese interests abroad. After explosions in South Africa and Taipei, Op-Center roots out the cause: Warring factions in the Chinese government. But still reeling from budget cuts and an almost devastating attack by an electromagnetic pulse explosion, Op-Center itself sustains a third hit: The removal of Commander Paul Hood, replaced by a three-star general from the Army. Op-Center is now under the control of the Pentagon. Hood's own future exists at the whim of the new President. And the world braces for more attacks...

Would you consider the audio edition of War of Eagles to be better than the print version?
I would not better but as always reading with the audio enhances the experience.Any additional comments?
A good way to bring the series to an end, although recently Op-Centre Out of the Ashes has been released with a different author Dick Crouch who co-wrote Act of Valour. Although Out of the Ashes is currently not available on Audible.Op-Centre cutbacks

Great reader

As a woman I find the new Op-Center Commander obnoxious. Someone who made it on affirmative action and now that she has power will crush everyone to prove that she “earned Her three stars”. If she is not canned in the next book it will be the last I listen to. Despite extensive links with military personnel I have NEVER heard any female officer “sir’d”. It is ridiculous and contrived. And again shows how pathetic her character is.
The plots of the last two books have both been tedious and irritating. Next book is last one if they do not improve new plot lines and characters.
