About this listen

Famine, Death, War, and Pestilence - the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the harbingers of Armageddon. These are our guides through the Wastelands.

Wastelands 2: More Stories of the Apocalypse is a new anthology of postapocalyptic literature from some of the most renowned authors in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres today, including George R. R. Martin, Hugh Howey, Junot Díaz, David Brin, and many more. This eclectic mix of tales explores famine, death, war, pestilence, and harbingers of the biblical apocalypse.

Like its predecessor, Wastelands 2 delves into a bleak landscape to uncover the raw human emotion and heart-pounding thrills at the genre's core.

Not as strong as the first, but still great! More dark stories. Less fun light hearted or humorous takes on the end of the world. The book suffers for it. Still great if youre a fan of the genre.

This was thoroughly enjoyable. I'm a sucker for apocalyptic literature and these delivered. I'm already looking forward to re-reading some of my favorites from this collection.

Superb!

This was great for varied stories and discovering authors I hadn't know about. While every story can't appeal to everyone, I think I only skipped one and enjoy all the rest.

Great Anthology

wasteland 2 stories of the Apocalypse is as exciting as the first one. I thoroughly enjoyed the stories and could vision these playing out in my head. listening to the audiobook in my opinion was a lot better than reading the book. I bought the book almost five years ago and wanted to dedicate a story a month but I just could not finish the book but listening to it was a whole different experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.

amazing post-apocalyptical stories

You will not be disappointed, this collection will take you to the brink, then dump you over the side. Good Luck finding your way way home...

Another home run for JJ Adams.

Wonderfully entertaining and very thoughtful provoking. It's interesting to see the various perspectives pertaining to the end of the world

Entertaining

An even stronger collection than the first anthology, at least in the first half. Narration is mostly top-notch with a couple of notable exceptions. Taylor Meskimen (not listed in the credits, narrator of Colliding Branes (sic)) was especially painful to listen to; baby voice, ssssibilant sssss's at the end of wordsssss, abuse of the "eh" sound ("rafferinces" viz references, "naxt" viz next, "daffinately" viz definitely, "taxt" vis text, "gnatworking" viz networking, "claverly laveraged her interast", etc. I stopped listening when she referred to sex as "sax".

Better than the first anthology.

I bought this book prior to a solo road trip. Not a moment went by that I was bored or frustrated as the packing and tone of each story are unique. A most welcome experience.

excellent company.
