Publisher's summary

Home on Lestaron Island, Jack finds himself with a new, much more domestic array of problems. The doubts unearthed by Volandar’s assertion that Jack’s father is still alive push him into an unorthodox and potentially illegal investigation.

Now that Mira’s living at the mansion under the guise of his new gardener, he's also forced to carefully manage the unexpected toll it places on his relationship with Ryoko. And of course, his ever-present need to feed poses the new question of whom to bite and how often.

Warning: This book contains graphic sex, a slow building harem, and increasingly disconcerting moral dilemmas.

loved it

The best part of this book is how it tackles a very serious subject of mental health. Along with everything else, the story manages to ease a real problem that affect many on a daily basis. Another great book and I can't wait to continue to the next.

Missed the mark here

Ok story, decent intimate action. Feels more of a fluff-er in more then one way. Hope the next one is better.

Character learns nothing from his past mistakes

Up to this point in the series actions and their consequences haven't been readily apparent when making the decision to take that action, the main consequence in this book is so blaringly obvious that you don't know why the main character takes the actions he does. There is a small sort of explanation however if that was true he never would change in the first place. Overall the plot in this book comes across more as author wanted to have x, and threw out any resemblance of character building to shoe horn it in.

Another good installment

The water nymph proved to be very elusive and mysterious. I think that this book is better than book three

Bad decision dinosaur

The Main charecter is the litteral incarnation of bad decisions, his inability to act like an adult, check his every faintest desire temptation and thought, or you know think 3 seconds into the future for consequences is the primary impetus for story progression. there is a point where the dude litterally summons a demon after given warnings from every one that its fucking stupid and he should be very careful cause she would try to make a deal that would hurt him witch he casually responds oh ill be careful, not more then a minute in hes about to make a deal to release a demon THAT WAS BOUND FOR HIS OWN FUCKING SAFETY AS IT HAD MALICIOUS INTENT TOWARDS HIM ALL SO THAT SAME DEMON WOULD SHOW UP AND GIVE HIM INFORMATION HE WANTS CAUSE HE CANT PUT EFFORT INTO A NORMAL FUCKING MEANS!

Not as good as the last one

MC gets kind of whiney in this one and makes the same mistakes repeatedly. I'm hoping he has to pay a serious price for being an idiot.

Most Pathetic MC Ever Written

Hughes, you should really be ashamed of the MC you've created with this series. He has to have all his power given to him, constantly makes decisions that are so stupid I had to stop listening for a few days each time, and is an overall pushover with no spine or even common sense. How can you feel good about producing something like this? The series was good...ish until now, but this is just unbearable. I feel sorry for the narrator for working on this project. She must have been cringing even more than is readers.
