About this listen

I took an oath to destroy them all.

That not a single goblin would remain on this world.

Trapped in the skeleton of an old dark elf ruin, deep beneath the trees and grass.

I found her. The festering goddess that unleashed this plague upon the world. The one I would need to destroy, in order to complete my life’s mission.

But she too, longs for the end.

Despite my efforts to uphold my oath, I am thrust into a new world to start my slaughter once again. But the twisted creatures of my nightmares aren’t here. Tracking them down in this new world was a simple matter. Their camp was only barely hidden.

But when the repellent creatures within, turn out to be seven voluptuous and beautiful women, I can’t help but think this is all a trap.

My oath is everything… Isn’t it?

Great blend or fantasy and action. I can’t wait for the sequel I was hooked from the start.

I really want to like this one, it had all the pieces for a great story, a potential for a great enemies to lovers, a story for redemption and forgiveness, for striving to be better. But instead we are treated to a rushed story fumbling at all these parts. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a spicy novella as much as the next guy, but only when the context leading up to it makes sense or is wonderfully woven into. The story starts out with a goblin slayer esque character with all the reasons to hate them, but the minute they are changed, I felt the overlooking the past was glazed over far too quickly. The story would have benifited by slowing down and trying to build trust between the new goblins and the protag. But mguffin berries and a who cares approach was taken instead, leaving a pretty unsatisfactory reason for intamacy. I also wish there was more of a duality or arguement between the palladin and barbarian, like a mirror moment of reflection or something. But credit where its do, the performances were very well given, though the narration points seemed a little lackluster, the charactees were voiced well. If you want a parofy of Goblin slayer this sort of has that going for it, at least for the first few chapters, but quickly devolves into just mindless rutting. Wish he would have at least tried to re educate the goblins or something, but they don't really change much, and the reasons for hating them are still there but the protag doesn't care because booba. So, I'm a lil dissapointed, but I had fun with it all the same assembling furniture with this in the background.

Would have been better as a slow burn.

The story was great. I can't wait for the next one. but the male narrators voice is annoying to listen to, he has almost a lisp and sounds like he is either doing an accent bad, or he has an accent and he is doing a bad job of covering it up. the female narrator does an ok job as well, but does the voice of 6 different characters and only does about 3 different voices, so it is hard to tell who in the story is talking until they say the characters name. but the story was good enough to still make me want to listen to it. the sex was pretty hot too.

I love the story, not so much the male narrator.

It was nice to have an MC that isn't constantly questioning his values, morals, and actions.
The main premise is the MC committing genocide upon the goblins of his world, but he's not dwelling on it and constantly whinging.
The goblin goddess and her goblin girl followers become his new harem family, but now someone else wants to eradicate the goblins on this new world.
Lots of tiny goblins banging a giant barbarian action.
Quinn is quickly becoming one of my new favorite authors, and the narrators do an amazing job as well.
I was gifted this book with the expectation of an honest review.
This book gets 7 stars out of 5 from me.

Not what I expected.

This should be read by all the writers trying to write male fantasy books with monster girls of any type. The MC doesn't have to completely incompetent and insecure around the opposite sex. This book proves it. Thank you for writing something different.

The new gold standard

Such a great story that I need a lot more of. The character evolution of the MC from beginning to end is awesome. The character interactions, story and much more make this a series anyone who enjoys this genre should try.

Fantastic narration performance by Byron Ormond and Kat Riley.

Great Book

Really interesting story. The MC is very intense and focused. The storyline is really different from the regular ones and I really loved all the characters. The character description could have been better, but overall, it was fun. The narrators did a really good job with the story too
