About this listen
In the midst of a global pandemic, amidst the chaos and uncertainty that grips the world, one tiny soul listens, learns, and grows within the safety of her mother's womb. "Whispers Within the Womb" invites listeners on a captivating journey through the eyes of Genesis, an incredibly intelligent and emotionally intuitive baby girl, as she bears witness to the trials and tribulations of her parents, Adam and Olivia, during the tumultuous times of COVID-19.
From the very beginning, Genesis is attuned to the sounds and sensations of the world around her, eagerly anticipating the day when she can join her parents in the adventures that await. But as she listens in on their conversations and absorbs the emotions that swirl around her, she grapples with the harsh realities of the pandemic, the fear and uncertainty that threaten to overshadow the joy of her impending arrival.
Through Genesis's keen observations, listeners are drawn into a tapestry of love, resilience, and hope, as her parents navigate the challenges of their daily lives with unwavering strength and determination. From the heartwarming moments of laughter and connection to the gut-wrenching decisions that test their faith and resolve, Adam and Olivia's journey serves as a poignant reminder of the power of love to triumph over even the darkest of times.
But as the deadline for a vaccine mandate approaches, Genesis and her parents are faced with a decision that will change the course of their lives forever. With their faith and convictions put to the ultimate test, they must confront their deepest fears and uncertainties, and find the courage to stand up for what they believe in, no matter the cost.

Story
Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Story
In fifth grade my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed. It didn't take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. For the next seven years, it was us. She's the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

Shows the reality going on during COVID19
Good illustration showing the pandemic time. I like the idea of baby telling the story from the womb who is observing all pandemic time from the womb.

very interesting short story
This is definitely something new. it's a new angle to look at the pandemic which just hit us a few years ago. the pandemic feels like always beyond us now, everything going back to sort of normal, but there are things that would neve come back. looking back to what we experienced during the pandemic, it's hard to believe that we went through those time and those things. this book is from a genesis's perspective, eagerly wanting to know everything around and everything seems new and interesting. and its experience with the parents. quite refreshing.

Very touching!
This audiobook is a touching and unique story that allowed me to experience the essence of a family's journey during the pandemic. Through the eyes of Genesis (a baby girl in her Mother's womb), I was able to witness the emotional rollercoaster experienced by her parents. The book beautifully portrayed their struggles, fears, and hopes to me, offering me a new perspective on the pandemic's impact on families. I felt connected to Genesis while listening to this, relating to her absorbing all the emotions and uncertainties of her parents. It is both heartwarming and tough, but also highlights the resilience of the human spirit through adversity. I really enjoyed it and it is a short but sweet listen. Highly recommend!

Hope for the Future!
Whispers Within the Womb really touched my heart, especially after learning the author actually went through everything Olivia goes through in the story. I love the unique voice of the storyteller and the reminder to not forget the lessons we learn from the past so we don’t make the same mistakes going into the future. I would like to see more from this author!

Not What I Expected
I wasn't sure what I was in for, but I enjoyed this 30 minute story. It offered a different perspective of the pandemic. To be honest, it was opposite world view of what I experienced during the past few years of the pandemic but I liked being put in the authors shoes to see how other humans felt during these troubled times.
