Publisher's summary

Not Quite the Fairy Tale is a series of paranormal romance written for a mature audience. Expect adult language and naughty stuff. Each audiobook is a stand alone. White as Snow is a novella.

Blanche Wood's life has always been crazy - voices in your head kinda crazy - but before him, she could deal with it.

Her stepmother would have loved to carve her heart out and eat it the day her father died, but as Blanche is the last of the Woods living in the Woodlands, she had to put up with her.

Alessandro Primerius, Prince of Alenia, the fay blooded man who could rule the entire world if he so wished, was everything the Queen's ever desired... and he wants Blanche. Despite the fact that Queen Ilda is the fairest of them all.

Random and slutty

I’m not sure I even understood the plot of this twisted Snow White tale. There’s the evil Queen of Skank, who rules through royal sex parties. Then there’s Prince Alessandro, the sex loving playboy who is insta-smitten by Blanche, who is Snow White with a random Irish accent and voices in her head. The only thing I’m certain of is that the Queen is hyperbolically slutty. The hows and the whys of Blanche fleeing,
then years later scheming to take her kingdom back made zero sense.

Other character names and scenes bounce around like pinballs (Greek god Apollo gets a one sentence mention, and something about sirens, Hades, and Rumpelstiltskin), but have little to do with the plot.
The voices in her head kept their origins secret because …?

And you’d never know it from this novella, but this is actually urban fantasy. Other novellas in this series talk of cars and phones and carbonite freezing. Yeah, the author writes like a Jackson Pollack painting, just splashing ideas onto the page without rhyme or reason.
