About this listen
In Who Does He Say You Are?, Catholic missionary and speaker Colleen Mitchell captures the confessions of 12 more women from the Gospels and shows how their stories answer this crucial question of identity: "Who does he say you are?"
Holding up Mary as the ultimate example of intimate, transforming union, Mitchell weaves together moving anecdotes of her own search for identity as a Catholic woman along with 12 accounts of women in Scripture that are at once fresh yet familiar. In so doing, Mitchell connects in a compelling and very personal way with the Scriptures, inspiring listeners to "take up and hear" in order to discover the answer to this all-important question for themselves.

In his most personal book yet, Brant Pitre, PhD, draws on the riches of the Bible, the words of Jesus, and the writings of mystics across the centuries to shed light on the mystery - and wonder - of the spiritual life.

Story
Every one of us is made in the image of God. We are unique, we are worthy of love, and we are called to greatness. In this world, though, it can be easy to be distracted from that truth and begin to doubt God's love is real. We live in a world that tells us we are not smart enough, not pretty enough, not sexy enough, not rich enough, not thin enough, and don't have enough friends.

By entering the stories of the named and unnamed women in the Gospels, this book gives listeners a unique lens to see Jesus as these women did and marvel at how he loved them in return.

It wasn’t the response he expected, but it was - and continues to be - the answer he needs. Within this audiobook, you’ll find a fascinating road map to staying emotionally healthy and spiritually alive in the chaos of the modern world.

The Story of a Soul conveys St. Therese of Lisieux's "Little Way" of spiritual childhood - her "elevator" to Heaven, as she called it. This method was approved by Pope Pius XI as a way for all to grow in holiness through unfailing confidence and childlike delight in God's merciful love. Again and again in this audiobook, St. Therese shows us how her "Little Way" of love and trust comes straight from Sacred Scripture.

Story
Life often looks so very different than we hoped or expected. Some events may simply catch us off guard for a season, but others shatter us completely. We feel disappointed and disillusioned at best and overwhelmed and hopeless at worst. We quietly start to wonder about the reality of God’s goodness and why he allows us to suffer and experience grief and loss. Lysa TerKeurst understands this deeply. But after many tears, godly counseling, and prayerful seeking, she's also discovered that our disappointments can be the divine appointments our souls need to radically encounter God.

A must read for every Christian woman.
Loved it, and will read it as a meditation for female Christian strength for any adversity, trying time, or to fly through the day in a most glorious way.
It was an eye opener to really seriously contemplate the lives of all of these holy women, and so very much like a healing balm for me.
I want this book for every female in my family to read from the youngest to the ones with the most wisdom and years.
This book is not denominational so would be appropriate for all Christian women.

The prayers she writes are worth the price alone!!
Would you consider the audio edition of Who Does He Say You Are? to be better than the print version?
Only because I love to listen.
What about Colleen C. Mitchell’s performance did you like?
So sincere, good speaking voice, and the prayers at the end of each chapter are really inspiring.. I wish there was a section of just the prayers so I could just listen to them without having to buzz through to end of each chapter.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, because it's got so much good information.
Any additional comments?
If you are hurting, or feel like God has failed you, you've lost something or something that was precious to you, this book will help ease your pain.
