About this listen

Old allies go dark.... New worlds join the fight.... A rescue from an enemy held world.... A lone operative with a dangerous plan....

The Karuzari finally have the support of an industrialized system, but they need time to build their forces.

Unfortunately, time is the one thing they may not have. Captain Scott now faces a difficult decision: To risk it all on a single roll-of-the-dice, or to turn his back on an old friend, and a plan that could buy them the time they so desperately need?

Great series, awesome narration, it's nice that it stays the same narrator the whole time.. I love this series, keep them coming!

After two rather dissapointing installments we are finally getting somewhere in the story. This one left me wanting more.. But it really feels like each two books in the series are two halves that should be combined into one. Still ready for the next one though!

Finally!

Partly saw that coming, but I thought it was going to be another "lucky" victory. Sad but great ending. I've never been disappointed by a book in this saga!

Damn, that ending

Love the series. Just wish books were longer. The story in each is over too soon. Perhaps this could be adapted into a TV series.

Really really couldn’t be better no matter how very hard the author tries to do….

This is book seven of the series. I am a big fan of both series by Ryk Brown. The characters have grown on me and feel like friends now. The action is almost continuous. I am amazed at the skill of the Gahtazak. Slowly all the key people from the first series are gathering to do battle in this one. Unfortunately, in this story, Nathan and team are taking a beating. Can not wait until the next book in the series comes out.

I am frequently disappointed by independently published books, but this is one author I have added to my follow list. I wish Brown all success in his writing. The book is almost ten hours. Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job narrating the series. Kafer has an easy to listen to voice and an excellent narrative rhythm. Kafer is an award-winning audiobook narrator and voice-over artist.

A Great Space Opera
