About this listen

The second book in the brand-new Hunt Legacy duology by the Sunday Times and New York Times best-selling author of the This Man series.

A desperate passion, a dangerous love story....

Eleanor Cole had no idea that when she met the charmingly irresistible Becker Hunt, she was putting her life on the line. So when she discovers his secrets, escape seems to be her only option - but Becker isn't ready to let Eleanor go.

She knows better than to fall into his corrupt world again, but how long can she resist when he's stolen her heart?

Eleanor must make a choice, to stay and follow Becker into the heart of the danger...or risk losing him forever!

Becker Hunt is back, and this time he's not letting Eleanor walk away....

Great story...

This was a great story, but not my favorite of this author.
Kristen Atherton was amazing, both male and female parts!
Richard Trindor was cringy, should have let Ms. Atherton do the epilogue.

Kristen Atherton was fabulous

Narrator Kristen Atherton was fabulous with her different character voices. She narrated this book perfectly with her emotions with each character, she brought them alive in me “ears”! Bravo

Beautiful, Suspenseful, Funny

Love these two books! The story will be with me a long time. Unequaled narration from Kristin Atherton; she is incredible. The plot and sub-plots are interesting and compelling. The art world is a different setting and a whole new world for listeners. I think the two books should be pitched to one of the big motion picture studios (this is way too good for the web-based small screen). They would obviously need to shorten and “sanitize” the sex scenes for an R rating, but so what? The chemistry of the two main characters would still shine though, along with the really crafty plot. A definite A++ recommendation!!

Good story but the Becker narrator lacking

The male narrator did not sound masculine but elderly British male. Prologue could have ended the story better w a believable Becker.

Amazing

Phenomenal book by Jodi Ellen Malpas. Book 2 in the series does not disappoint.

Kristin Atherton’s performance is amazing and her ability to do male voices, particularly Becker’s, is really quite good. I really wish that Kristin Atherton had done the Epilogue. Not sure why Richard Trinder voiced Becker in the epilogue. It would have been so much better if KA had continued in Becker’s voice for the epilogue.

Loved it

I absolutely love this author. This is the 3rd series I have listened to and they are wonderful. She makes readers feel everything through her words.
Worth the credit and then some.
