About this listen

Ever feel like you’re being watched?

It’s an awareness so familiar I adapted to it long ago. Then I enrolled at Westbrook University to chase my dream and make up for someone else’s lost one.

The prying eyes I’d known almost since birth... They closed.

Even still, I never got too close. I made friends with everyone but confided in no one. My dates were carefully chosen, meaning I went out with guys I didn’t really like.

And then I was attacked.

I slept in Jamie’s bed while he stayed near me on the floor. He gave me his number, told me to call. Oh, I wanted to call. But I didn’t.

Now those invisible, observant eyes that always seemed familiar have returned. But this time? They chill me to the bone.

Someone is watching. Lurking. And it’s only a matter of time until whoever is out there does more than stare.

The only place I feel truly safe is wrapped in the massive wingspan of an Elite swimmer. The very man I know I need to avoid. But as shit goes down, it becomes clear I’m going to have to surrender something....

My heart or my life.

Please note that Wingspan contains mentions of domestic abuse and suicide. There is also present danger and stalking. These situations may be triggering for some listeners.

Really loved this story 😍😍😍

So I enjoyed book 1 of this series of interconnected standalone but boy did I love book 2 more! I thought I was going to be annoyed with all the bro’s but the author didnt overdo it this time and the deliveries by the narrations was amazing. I couldnt stop listening to this audiobook, I wanted to stay in this world for a long time, and I am dying for the next book to be in audio because the tension between the 2 characters is SO GOOOD!!!!

Ok back to Jamie and Madison’s love story! I really enjoyed this gripping storyline. This author reeled me in with Wet and that baddie but this one felt even more suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat. I needed to know what was going on, I thought I had it narrowed down to the right character and I didnt see one of the twists that came from left field. When it all came together in the culmination at the end, it was so brilliant and I appreciated what the author did. I couldnt believe I could fall for Jamie after how much he felt like an airhead frat boy in book 1. Boy as I wrong. This possessive feelings and his protectiveness were swoon worthy (not that I like men being controlling of women, but with how he handled things and apologized when he overstepped was adorable to me). He definitely has to be added to my book boyfriend list. I loved his good girls I realized I had a praise kink after a couple books, this one being one. I appreciated he wasn’t a complete Dom, but he had some of the best tendencies of them haha. Madison was a great MC and I fell for her so badly, I wanted to be her bestie haha. I was part of theater in high school in stage crew so the theater part brought back memories which were great. I loved her resilience but she is so broken and Jamie helps give her the space and love to put herself back together after she has to fall apart. The steam and love in this one were fabulous and perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. We had some awesome cameos and we get a lot of Ryan and Rory airtime which was fun (and Wes and Max....boy their tension ripples through the pages/bleeds through the speakers!). I think so of my favorite scenes were when Madison meets Jamie’s mom, Jamie going shopping, and how they all interact at the salon and at the end at the party. Really enjoyed this, will be picking this up in paperback at some point because it will stick with me for a long time.

The narration was fantastic. I felt all the hurt and trauma, and the fear, all the tension and angst. The characters were coming off the page with the narrators bringing them to life and putting on great performances. I really don’t have anything that stands out to me to critique and that is saying something haha. FYI I do listen usually 1.5-1.65X speed. I have enjoyed the female narrator with some recent listens and this is the first time I have listened to the male narrator. I definitely will be listening to them again, I enjoyed their intonations, their accents, the feelings they portrayed and highlighted. I think the best example was Madison when she discovers what happened in her room and the aftermath. My heart ached for her but swooned over Jamie and their friends so much ❤️

Storyline was good

I like this series but I hate the fact that the heroine is so weak. I was so looking forward to this book. She started strong but as time goes by she’s very weak. Love the faithfulness hero. He never waiver. Cecily and Devon did an excellent job at narrating

Twists and turns...

Wingspan is book 2 in the Westbrook Elite series. this book is fun, full of suspense and sexy. It was intense, with so many twists and turns you won't see coming. Jamie is for sure a swoony H and Maddie is the perfect h for him. However the "bros" were a bit overkill and were driving me a bit crazy. With that said, I really did enjoy the book and can't wait for Wes' story!

Cecily Foster and Devon Ryder did an amazing job with this book. They really brought these characters to life.

Bro!!

Bro! Jamie is in stereo! I will say that I was a little worried about how Devon Ryder would do as Jamie since I wasn’t familiar with his work. I was pleasantly surprised! Once he got into the groove he did a great job! I like Cecily Foster and she did a good job with Madison also! They both did a good job with their inflections and moods so it was not monotone or hard to listen to. I can recommend this one to listen to and enjoy Bro time!

Broooo....Maddie and Jamie ❤🔥

This is book 2 in this series and I have enjoyed every moment of it. It was both funny and mysterious throughout the while story. Jamie's instalove for the mfc, Maddie, was sweet and sext at the same time. This story had exceptional plot twists that left me wondering until the very end. No cliff hanger! Also the narrators were excellent! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far.

Wingspan

Wingspan is the second book in the Westbrook Elite series. This book is about Jamie and Madison and is told from both of their points of view. We had previously met Jamie and Madison in the previous book, and things that happened in this book came up in that book, so I would recommend listening to this series in order.

Jamie protects Madison when something bad happens to her. He immediately has feelings for her and wants to be around her all the time. Madison has her guard up from something that has happened in the past.

As Madison and Jamie are together more, Madison realizes someone is stalking her. Jamie is there whenever she needs someone, and she learns she can put her trust in him.

There were a lot of secrets that came out, and twists I didn't see coming. The whole book I thought one person was the stalker and I was surprised when it was revealed.

I enjoyed this book, and am super excited to listen to the next book in the series.

Bro, loved Jamie and Madison!! 😍😍

I thought I loved Ryan and Camera Girl until I got to book two! This can be read as a stand-alone in the series, but I’d suggest to read book 1 to get a run down of the other characters.

OMG, the relationship between Jamie and Madison is everything from their banter to the Jamie vying for Mads at the beginning. Jamie is on the swim team at Westbrook and he meets Madison in book 1 when something happens to Rory and Madison in the theatre. Madison is a theatre major who has a more jaded past than anyone knows about, and she’s scared for people to know her past.

She walks around constantly looking over her shoulder and doesn’t let anyone get to close. That is until her and Rory join forces to take someone down in book 1. But little does she know Jamie is about to break down her walls as well. She tries everything in her to keep him at arms length, but he won’t let her do that. He swoons her and loves her even if it has to be at her own pace and he has to let her decide that she also wants to love him. Their love is sweet and pure and his possessive alphaholeness keeps them ultimately safe by the end of the story. Definitely a little bit of suspense thrown into this book and man some of the twists the story took I never would have guessed. This book had me checking my closets when I was home alone. 😂 but really Cambria did a wonderful job with Jamie and Madison’s story and I can’t wait to read the third book in the series.

Pink flamingo also did a wonderful job with the narrators and bringing this story to life. I hope we get book three out of this too! ❤️

I loved Jamie and Madison together.

I couldn’t help but feel like a lot of the aspects of book2 were the same as book1.

I did like that Madison had some mystery about her and thy Jamie was hellbent on protecting her.

The whole group of guys are amazing and so so supportive I love getting snippets of them altogether.

I really enjoyed this audio! I esp loved the male narration, I felt like that is exactly how a guy in college would sound. And I loved how the female narrator added that touch of mystery in her voice in regards to Madison’s past
