About this listen

Zara Riddle moved to a small town so her life could be quiet and safe. But now that her witch powers have kicked in, life is anything but. Long-lost relatives are coming out of the woodwork, and it turns out the family tree is riddled with magic.

When a ghost shows up, Zara finds out her Spirit Charmed powers come with a cost. She must solve the woman's murder. Zara teams up with her handsome neighbor, a wolf shifter who's both mysterious and perfect. Maybe too perfect? He did save her life during a vicious attack, but some strange coincidences have Zara second-guessing her alliances.

The town of Wisteria may be quaint on the surface, but danger lurks around every corner. To protect her family, Zara must risk her heart and her life. Forces of good and evil will face off in a battle where one side has a secret advantage.

One thing's for sure. Zara Riddle is keeping these new powers, blue lightning balls and all.

Once you go witch, you never switch.

This book was fantastic. I loved all the characters especially Zara and Chet. I love the fact is has witches and shifters. My favorite parts were when she found out Chet was a wolf shifter. I look forward listening to more in this series whenever audio book is available. This series is humorous and has a serious side. The narrator did a great job. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Think Janet Evanovich, it's the style of book I call hallmark movie books, they are fun and light, slightly predictable feel good books. The perfect doing housework book. I enjoyed it and am about to start the next one!

Funny witchy mystery. The main character has a smart ass sense of humor that makes this story extra fun.

Quirky and fun!

This was good story to listen to while I was outside working and trying to beat the summer heat.
Its funny, witty, and fast-moving. It took me a bit to get into, but once it was over, I found my self still laughing at some parts.

This was my first time listening to Tiffany as a narrator. I found her to be good, and have a great pace. and I would listen to her again.

I really had high hopes for this book but it fell a little flat. I liked the plot and storyline but the main character constantly came off childish and the narration didn't help. This book may be one that is better read than heard.

As I am a fan of this series, and have read all released books, I had my own ideas of how the voices should sound. The narrator's characters' voices were different than I had imagined, so they were a bit distracting. Still, enjoyed the story, and the freedom to multitask that the audiobook version offers.

This book was a fun blend of fantasy and mystery! Zara is a witch, and the cast of characters around her are all mystical in various ways too. In fact, the entire town feels like it’s full of secrets around every corner. When a ghost shows up Zara gets tasked with solving the murder, but along the way there is plenty of trouble that pops up! This is a fun series, especially if you like the fantasy genre!

Fantasy & mystery in one!

I enjoy Angela Peppers stories and this one was no exception. Zara and her daughter move to Wisteria and start a new life. Right off the bat it seems there is something off about Wisteria and the house she purchased. Ghosts, possessions, mystery, and a discovery a family tradition and magic create and interesting, fun, and thoroughly sarcastically funny story. I love Zara she is hilarious. Narration was excellent, she really captured the characters! Already grabbed another in the series! I received a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Thoroughly enjoyed!

I love this book! The protagonist is simply fabulous: interesting, funny and compelling. The whole toaster thing is ridiculously funny and if you add to that the whole new house, new town, a new job thing and a surprising reacquaintance with lost family members, you'll have a great book.

But that's not all, because there is also family secrets coming to light, witchcraft and werewolves... sorry! shifters, and the mysterious death of the previous owner of the house, a handsome neighbour and a socially-oriented ghost.

The narration is excellent, and lively, adding to the enjoyment of an already fantastic story.

If you love humorous paranormal mysteries, this is for you :D

Hilarious!
