Publisher's summary

Lights, camera, assassin....

A Hollywood movie shoot comes to town and journalist Cendrine West is eager for a scoop. Her witchy family also wants in on the action, but shenanigans with the stars soon turn to Tinseltown tragedy.

Bodies are piling up faster than a coven's worth of curses, and everything points back to Cen's starstruck family. They will stop at nothing in their quest for supernatural stardom, even if that means meddling in a murder investigation.

The witches have created one spell of a mess and given the killer a chance to get away with murder. Cen resorts to her own blend of supernatural justice to keep her family in check, but can she unmask the killer before he strikes again?

Welcome to the wild, wild Wests!

Witch & Famous is for fans of a paranormal mystery, cozy mystery, and wickedly funny witches.

This book can be heard as a standalone mystery, but if you want to know more about the Westwick Witches and their family history, you can start with book one: Witch You Well.

Such a fun listen!

I am loving this series! Aunt Pearl with her antics and what she says has me laughing out loud. I get pulled into the stories of these quirky characters, mystery, and unexpected twists. The narration on this book was awesome, and I loved how each character had their own distinctive voice. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. Colleen Cross and Petrea Burchard make an awesome combination. I will definitely listen to more of their books.

There making a movie here?

Another great book in this series This series just gets better each time i go on an adventure with Cen and her crazy aunts. This book was no exception. There making an action movie in town, Aunt Amber is in the movie, Aunt Pearl wants to be in charge of props, the leading man wants everything his way and then he ends up dead. That is when the fun really begins. Everyone pointing fingers at each other. Then one of the suspects ends up dead. The mayor, Brayden, keeps threatening Tyler's job if he does not find the killer by certain time. So Cen and Tyler have to work together to find out who really did the murders. The narrator, Petrea Burchard, does a great job with each character. I can't wait to listen to the next book.

A Witchy Murder Mystery

Witch & Famous
A Westwick Witches Cozy Mystery
By: Colleen Cross
Narrated by: Petrea Burchard
This is an audible book I requested and the review is voluntary.
I love this series. It is crazy and batty with the hair brained aunt that drives me crazy but in this book Cen has two aunts to deal with! Both aunts are witches and are nuts! There is a murder and in front of everyone. The murderer put real bullets in the gun that was suppose to have blanks for the movie. I feel sorry for the sheriff, he is Cen's boyfriend. He has to deal with THREE busybody witches trying to solve the crime! lol
The narrator does great at keeping the voices straight and action flowing. She has the crazy aunt's voice down great...a horrible grating sound just perfect for her personality! lol

Another fun meeting with Cendrine West:)

The Westwick Witches series is entertaining, funny, fast-paced and partly crazy and you can't get enough of it:)

As always, Cendrine has to deal not only with a murder at hand but also - or first and foremost - with her irritating, unstoppable aunts who behave like spoilt teenagers, not 60 or 70 years old experienced witches they are:) And it's not only Aunt Pearl this time; Aunt Amber brings in her antics, too - which makes the whole story even crazier and more entertaining...:) I know, I know, too many "smiling faces" in this review, but I can't help it - the book has made me laugh more than once and I am still smiling thinking about Amber's acting career and Pearl's attempts at "helping" with the prompts on set:)

Ms Burchard continues to do a great job with the series; the pace is good and the voices so well-matched to the characters that I can't imagine anyone else reading the books any more. I've already said it before - I love Aunt Pearl's voice best, she's irritating to the point of me wanting to slap her:) but all the other characters are equally real in this wonderful interpretation of the book:)

Be prepared to laugh

If you've listened to books 1 and 2 then you probably have a fairly good idea of the hi-jinks that go on in this book. You could read this book as a standalone, but the first two books are so good you'd be missing out by not listening to them, and they'll help fill in some family history.

Aunt Pearl is just as outrageous as normal but in this book she's got a second aunt competing for the role of most disruptive. Cendrine'd family is certainly quirky and they end up in the oddest situations.

This book is another laugh out loud story that you'll be glad you listened to.

The character voices are well done and the delivery was perky, quirky, and a great match for the story.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

A Great Listen

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. Aunt Amber brings a movie crew to Westwick Corners and the future is looking bright for the town and the Inn, until there is a murder on the set. Cendrine is trying to help the sheriff solve the murder despite both her aunts acting even crazier than usual. The sheriff's job depends on solving the case fast and all he has is to go on is conflicting eye witnesses and witches getting in the way. Always lots of fun listening to tales of this dysfunctional witch family, as they find themselves in the middle of another murder mystery. A great listen for travelling.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable light mystery. It is another exceptionally written book by this author. The narrator has done a perfect job of narrating this book.

When Hollywood comes to town

In this witchy mystery aunt Amber gets a role in a movie and convince the producer to shoot it in their little town. It looks like a great opportunity to bring the town back on the map, but murder put a different kind of limelight on the town.
It’s jet another funny magic story with murder, drama and pyrotechnics.
I truly loves this story and are looking forward to the next one.
The narrator did as amazing job as she has done with the rest of the books.
