About this listen

Acclaimed author of The Warrior Heir, Cinda Williams Chima delivers this riveting sequel - a VOYA Perfect 10 and a New York Public Library 2008 Book for the Teen Age.

Booted from one exclusive school to the next since his foster mom's death three years ago, 16-year-old Seph McCauley knows he's different. But he doesn't understand why he can summon menacing ravens, freeze summer ponds, and torch all he touches. And then Seph makes the mistake of trusting his new headmaster. If you like Harry Potter, you'll love Seph McCauley.

I love the whole story, I love the author’s work, and I like the narrator, but I’m not a big fan of hearing the narrator swallowing every few minutes.

Overall a great book!

I have listened to this book more than once. One thing I will say, is that it’s hard to overlook the narrator swallowing. Not a pleasant sound to hear

Great book

If you could sum up Wizard Heir in three words, what would they be?

Who's yo daddy?

Any additional comments?

The narrator should not swallow so loudly into the microphone, it was very distracting. Editors should take more time to filter out or prevent background noise and lessen gaps between patches. This was an issue with the entire series.

Most of the chapters were our of sync and sometimes made it hard to follow along or keep track. Really good story though

Odd Narratation

Great continuation of the Heir Chronicles story. Seph, Madison & Jason are excellent additions to the wonderful magical world Chima has created.

Throughout the reading, you could hear narrator stop to take a drink. This was very distracting. Otherwise, it was a well narrated text and a good story.

I love book, I own the physical copy at home but this makes it easier to finish. The voice dude has a good voice but hearing him swallow loudly while wearing headphones is uncomfortable.

Love the book, but...

This is the second book in the series. I'm hooked. I love the exciting and action packed story. it definitely draws you in.

My the story was great but I noticed with my download the chapters were all off by about 6 minutes. sometimes he would say chapter(#) and the new chapter would begin on the chapter that was not currently playing. this was especially frustrating when trying to follow with my hard cover book after I was done driving.

none the less the book was great.

great book!
