True love is in store for one gruff cowboy in New York Times best-selling author Diana Palmer’s new Wyoming Men romance.
Cort Grier is no ordinary rancher. Despite his vast wealth, he still works the land with his own bare hands, unlike his troublesome new neighbor, Mina Michaels. Fiery, beautiful Mina infuriates and entrances Cort, awakening feelings he’d thought long buried. But he knows falling for a city girl can only lead to heartbreak....
Best-selling author Mina hardly expects to meet a man like the ones in her novels. But roguishly handsome Cort is an alpha hero through and through, from his stubborn streak to the fierce way this rugged cowboy protects his heart. When one sizzling kiss leads to another, can Mina convince Cort to open his world to her - now and forever?

The whole book is wrote with a purity culture point of view that is nauseating and a missing opportunity for actual plot. Cowboy meets the Merry Widow that has the most personality and plot of all the book she was the obvious opportunity for cowboy to grow as a person to see that a glamorous worldly woman could also be interesting outside of his narrow view of women. Anyway he says pass and goes for a girl “not like other girls” that likes *checks notes* WWII history and Star Wars and he has never met a woman like her so when said temple of virtue has sex with him he assumes that is not because she is wanton or a moral but because she loves him. This whole plot is full of holes. Every single character understands their own trauma and emotions to a level that you would think they have been in therapy for years but nope, it’s just the lack of skill of the writer to show this vs telling that has all the characters describing in detail all of their motivations and then forget all that and go act like they don’t know what they are doing. There’s also a bunch of stuff that doesn’t make sense.
Can we tone it down? You can’t have 25 successful endeavors at age 30 + years of military/mercenary experience + dating dozens of women and be jaded… the math doesn’t math
Yuck! Absolutely terrible
