About this listen

War is hell! It has been said millions of times throughout history. For Snoe Gainey, it is a phrase with a deeper meaning. Humanity has survived 20 years after the dead began to walk, only to be brought to the edge of extinction by its own hand. But there is more....

Ghosts from the past rise up one final time...mystic prophecies from the Native Americans are whispered...a zombie/human hybrid that embodies pure evil, and the last showdown to determine the fate of every living soul. All of this await in Zomblog: Snoe's Journey.

Evolving Snoe!

Our story opens with Snoe and her guide traveling to Oklahoma but in reality, Snoe wonders if she will ever get there. They ride Shetland ponies, which is a new experience for Snoe, and gets her sore in places she’s never been sore in before. Reaching a tribal outpost outside old world Dillon Colorado, Snoe meets Angel Snow Owl, an Elder of The Confederated Tribes. Angel delivers a note from Eric Grey Feather, the Chief Elder. The note describes Snoe’s birth mother Meredith as ”the bringer of death” and Snoe as “the bringer of life”. Her father, Samuel Todd is well-respected and is said to have the gentle spirit of Black Elk alive in him. Eric knows that Snoe is not aware of a Native prophesy, and must be protected until the rise of the 7th generation. Answers are not forthcoming, which only leaves Snoe in a state of confusion. Upon returning to Corridor 26, scouts report that General Carson is putting the city of Las Vegas to siege. From this point on the focus is solely on General Carson and the attempts to defeat him and his army. Throughout this volume, Snoe is learning of, and accepting her connection with Native Americans. With this understanding, her spirit and courage has grown considerably. From timidity she is becoming a leader. The final confrontation with General Carson is brutally descriptive and poignant. Snoe’s emotions are laid bare, and she is faced with the realities of leadership. My opinions about Snoe have changed drastically! Afterwards, Snoe reflects upon the battle. Without them doing what they had done, the Era of the Anomalies would have begun. Snoe now wants to relax and finally discover who she is. Not that Native blood should define who she is, but to understand her culture. She is still just eighteen years old and wants to ultimately decide who she is. If this journal is found, I hope it provides you with something useful. In conclusion, the two additional epilogue stories? Too little, too late.

fantastic conclusion

As the conclusion to the Zomblog series, this story was fantastic. I enjoyed every moment of the story and action. loved it.

The narration was pretty good, There were a couple times when I believe the editing could be fixed, a repeated word or two.
