Nothing in this existence is as bad as or any worse than leaving this existence and entering into eternal condemnation. Jesus talked about two places of punishment. By design, the devotions were meant to be easy to read and understand but without involving the reader with a lot of Hebrew words and scripture references. The main reason that I wrote this book was to remember and celebrate becoming a Christian fifty years ago. I got saved on December 14th, 1967. What are positive affirmations? An affirmation is anything that you think or say. This means that even your negative thoughts and words are affirmations. People have become used to thinking negatively, thus resulting in negative experiences and situations. It is important to retrain the mind to think only of good and positive things, so that only positive would also come out of the mouth. This is how you will change your life. A positive affirmation will open a doorway to the positive changes in your life.

This book is my 50th anniversary gift to Linda. We could not renew our vows this year and have the celebration that we would have liked because of the pandemic that has swept the world. So this book is something that I hope will remind her of all the good years that we have had together. The years have flown by. But we have been abundantly blessed from the very beginning. I hope that the pages of this book will accurately describe the very full life that she and I have shared together. For sure, it is a testimony of what the Lord can do with lives that are surrendered to Him.
