Collected here are five complete books by one of the 20th century's greatest writers, the legendary Ernest Hemingway. This omnibus contains two of his best-known novels—"The Sun Also Rises" and "A Farewell to Arms"—as well as three collections of short stories and poems: "In Our Time," "Three Stories and Ten Poems" and "Men Without Women."

"A Farewell to Arms" was Ernest Hemingway’s first best-seller and the acclaim garnered by this book put his name on the 20th century literary map. The novel is based on Hemingway’s own experiences serving as an ambulance driver during the Italian campaign in World War I and has often been cited as one of the best war novels ever written.

"Of the place where he had been a boy he had written well enough. As well as he could then." So thought a dying writer in an early version of The Snows of Kilimanjaro. The writer was, of course, Ernest Hemingway. The place was the Michigan of his boyhood, where he remembered himself as Nick Adams. Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) was a novelist, short story writer, journalist, and sportsman.
