Am 28. Mai 1975 fand an der Universität Freiburg eine denkwürdige Premiere statt. Heinrich Schnitzler las zum ersten Mal aus den Tagebüchern Arthur Schnitzlers. Dass der Sohn Heinrich Schnitzler selbst diese Tagebücher vortrug gab diesem Ereignis noch dokumentarischen Charakter. Denn seine Gestalt durchwandert weite Absätze dieser Aufzeichnungen. Arthur Schnitzler führt lückenlos ein Tagebuch. Es reicht von 1879 bis wenige Tage vor seinem Tode im Oktober 1931. Diese Tagebücher machen über 6000 Manuskriptseiten aus. Aus diesen Aufzeichnungen erschließt sich die "Schnitzler-Welt"... Auswahl der Texte und Einleitung gesprochen von Prof. Dr. Gerhart Baumann.
