High-flying debt analyst turned Buddhist nun and now author, Emma Slade joins Robin in the Audible Studios to discuss her inspirational new novel, Set Free. It follows her real-life story after a traumatic hostage situation in Jakarta which left her reeling to her journey towards becoming a Buddhist nun. Emma had always wanted to change her life and leave her job in the City, but her recovery from the trauma in Jakarta allowed her to go travelling and explore the art of yoga and meditation.
