Was bedeutet die Prophezeiung? Feuerherz befürchtet, dass Tigerstern dahintersteckt. Steht nun der finale Kampf gegen seinen größten Feind bevor? Zu spät merkt er, dass sich das Verhängnis von ganz anderer Seite eingeschlichen hat: Teuflische Gäste haben den Wald für sich entdeckt.

Eine rätselhafte 'Meute' wildert durch das Gebiet der vier Katzen-Clans. Doch keiner hat sie jemals gesehen... Beutespuren, fremde Gerüche und bedrohliche Träume - Feuerherz spürt, dass eine neue Gefahr im Wald lauert, doch er kann sie nicht fassen. Hat etwa sein alter Feind Tigerstern die Pfoten im Spiel? Erst in letzter Sekunde erkennt Feuerherz, dass hinter all den seltsamen Ereignissen ein teuflischer Plan steckt.

Etoile bleue est morte ! Ses guerriers sont sous le choc, et notamment Cœur de Feu, qui devient le meneur du clan. Le jeune guerrier reçoit alors dans son sommeil une prophétie étrange et effrayante : des temps obscurs se profilent pour lui et les siens. Au même moment, Etoile du Tigre, leur ennemi juré, fomente un nouveau complot. Pour conquérir le pouvoir absolu, il est prêt à pactiser avec une horde de chats impitoyables. Jamais l'équilibre fragile de la forêt n'a été si menacé.

Der junge Krieger Feuerherz ist beunruhigt: Einige Katzen des DonnerClans verhalten sich sehr rätselhaft. Er geht der Sache auf den Grund und kommt einem gefährlichen Geheimnis auf die Spur.

Fireheart could hear a roaring around him, like wind in tall trees. The acrid stench of the Thunderpath stung his nostrils, together with a new smell, sharper and more terrifying. Fire! WindClan is missing, and hostilities between the remaining three clans place all the cats in peril. Illness and tragic accidents weaken the camp, and ThunderClan needs all its warriors to defend itself… but Fireheart suspects that certain cats may not be as loyal as they appear.

Soon after the cats reached their new home by the lake, ThunderClan's medicine cat Leafpool received an ominous warning from StarClan: Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red. As the Clan slowly recovers from a devastating badger attack, Leafpool can't help but wonder…do her prophetic dreams mean there are even worse dangers still in store for the warrior cats? At the same time, shadows of the past continue to haunt the forest as some old friends struggle to find their place, others appear to be lost forever.
